Compile page break issue

I'm having an issue compiling a short story to a mobi file for Kindle. My first three documents before the folder with the actual story are Copyright, Title Page and Dedication Page. These have special formatting so I have "as is" checked in Compile. I have also checked "page break be...

Re: Codes for compiler

I actually just had a question about this. My novel is divided into parts and chapters. There is a folder for each of the two parts and in each of those are folders for each of the chapters. Is there anyway to set up auto numbering so it correctly writes Part One and Part Two and separately have the...

Re: Windows 8 RT Scrivener?

I suspect that I'm not alone when I say that Scrivener even plays a role in some of my hardware purchase decisions, including the MacBook Air I have now. Should it? Maybe not, especially with the Windows version out now. But for it just "feels good" to use Scrivener, and I've never regret...

Re: Strange flashing status bar

Sorry, I'm losing track of all the threads on this. It's a noted bug, Lee's in the middle of fixing it. It has to do with the resizing/redrawing of the Scrivenings session, causing the constant loading progress bar on some documents and also the buggy issues where the text isn't all visible but scr...

Re: Strange flashing status bar

if it helps, I have also been having this problem when I look at the chapter via the chapter folder. it occurred at the top of several of my chapters, and also seems to be linked to or interfering with the scroll bar on the right hand side of the text, which shows as if it is at the top when it is ...

Re: Strange flashing status bar

Yeah I should mention that, as you can see from the pic above, the second scene (where the status bar is) isn't starting at the top of that scene's text. When I scroll when I'm there, it goes up and under the dashed line separating scene one and scene two, hiding the top of scene two.

Strange flashing status bar

I just updated to the latest version and discovered a flashing status bar in the middle of one of my chapters (specifically the second scene of one of my chapters). This occurs when I view the entire chapter (folder) at once. In the second scene there is a 82% flashing status bar. I have attached a ...

Re: Back/Forward Mouse Buttons

Oh I found the setting. But what is the keyboard shortcut for back and forward? I could only find the keyboard short cut for moving up and down through documents, but that's not what I want.

Re: Back/Forward Mouse Buttons

I just have the Logitech SetPoint software. It doesn't appear to provide application-specific controls, unfortunately, unless I'm missing something?

Back/Forward Mouse Buttons

Hi all, I am loving Scrivener, but just thought of an idea as I was working on my novel. Maybe this is in the options somewhere and I missed it, but it would be great if the back and forward buttons on some mouses worked with the back and forward buttons in Scrivener, like they do for a web browser....

Re: Select All?

Thanks, that did it! I kind of wish I could have just selected folders and have it automatically encompass the documents within rather than selecting each document in each folder, but since presumably I won't be doing such a conversion very often, it wasn't that big of a hassle.

Re: Select All?

Just curious if this was added in any of the releases since I first posted about this? If so, how do I access it? If not, sorry for bothering you again!

Re: 5th MAR - LEE'S UPDATE & BETA 1.9 RELEASED

Lookin' good. One small thing I noticed: Although zooming by using the mouse scroll + Ctrl works great in the editor now, in full screen it's still reversed ---- Scroll forward zooms out when it should zoom in, and vice-versa.

Re: Problems with New Beta 1.7

I've had the ruler issues others have mentioned. Seems that changing the zoom level fixes the issue.

It's also been crashing somewhat frequently for me, though I'm not exactly sure why... Last time it happened when I clicked a different folder in the binder.
