Re: more than one computer.

I have a desktop PC, a laptop and a Surface RT. Scrivener is installed on my desktop but what do I do if I am away from home and want to work on either my laptop or my Surface RT? … I'm a Mac person, so I'm not sure, but I don't think Scrivener will run on a Surface RT as I believe it has a differe...

Re: Apple's Pencil

I can see its use as a editing device in full screen mode. U know, a way to physical scratch, edit, or write on existing documentation. After all, scrivener is a 'writing' app, and a device that actually allows u to physically write seems, well, appropriate, considering. Only if the underlying &quo...

Re: Subfolder disappeared

1. Every folder should have a disclosure triangle, as in the image below. I have nothing to add, I just like saying "disclosure triangle." Although, in my head, it keeps morphing to "compliance triangle," which brings a historic and ironic "1984"-ish tinge to the scena...

Re: Special characters

Maybe this is just my lack of OS X familiarity talking, but on OS X 10.10.5 with every option selected for the character app, I'm not finding the combination of aesc plus breve. EDIT: ...I can see I sat in the thread for too long researching, as Briar Kit has already explained this. AND provided a p...

Much to my surprise, none of this is about Scrivener AT ALL.

What the heck?

You're in Writing\Scrivenings. Looking at the description of these forums might be instructive.

Re: Scrivener for iOS - When?

Thirded. I know you may be reluctant to offer an ETA given your past history of doing so, but we promise not to stamp our feet if the date is missed, it would just be useful to know the current expectation. You can speak for yourself, but based on past experience there are others who will not be bo...

I appreciate the invite, but I can't find enough time to work on the projects I already have in progress.

Besides, I don't play well with others. :)

Re: Wish for Scrivener and Scapple for Android

Users who express such criticisms are claiming for improvements and possibly they would pay for that. You are fighting against such income Congratulations or something like that. One of the first sad lessons that every successful developer must learn is that, in the words of my computer science pro...

Re: Wish for Scrivener and Scapple for Android

I know comment is not very polite, but each time I read you, Scriviener developers, it seems having reading a Big-Corporate-Developers that change a comment in a line of code means 100 meetings, 12 persons involved in the change, 3000 paper sheets with the analysis and so on. You must be an aggessi...

No, "midnight" is a label assigned to the 00:00 hour starting the new day, just like "noon" is a label assigned to the 12:00 hour in mid-day.

Re: Who want a Linux release version?

Personally, I'd think that with the massive slow-motion train wreck otherwise known as Windows 10, that L & L would be more seriously looking to the alternate Linux universe. It's not difficult to compile for the major Linux distributions. Mozilla Firefox is an outstanding example. I love how a...

Re: More flexible Customize Toolbar

We do not have nearly the budget to create the hundreds of icons that would be required to make that possible, to the standards of quality we are comfortable with. We critique each icon individually and sometimes go over several revisions with the designer, that may seem excessive but that is just ...
