Re: BETA TESTING FINISHED FOR 1.7.1 - 27th May 2014

@Paulo: We do not have a good explanation about the value within the Location string, Paulo. Can you please provide us with some details about the v1.6.1 that you used for installation. Did you auto-update from previous version to v1.6.1 or you downloaded the full installer v1.6.1 and installed it ...

Re: BETA TESTING FINISHED FOR 1.7.1 - 27th May 2014

Lee! Tiho! No luck with the installer as it is, but I changed the Location string to C:\Program Files\Scrivener and voilà ! Auto-Update worked right away. Everything is updated now. 8) With 1.7.1.0 installed that registry value remains C:\Program Files\Scrivener so hopefully that pesky string won't ...

Re: BETA TESTING FINISHED FOR 1.7.1 - 27th May 2014

Thank you Lee for the prompt response, but I still get the same error. I have cleaned all temporary files... and I still get the error when I try to update from Scrivener. Maybe the fixed setup file is still populating somehow/somewhere? I will try again in one hour and will get back to you! Cheers ...

Re: Error when updating to 1.7.1

I get the error message above when I try to Auto-Update Scrivener 1.6.1.0 on my desktop PC and on my netbook, both running on Windows 7 Home Premium. I tried auto-updating Scrivener 1.6.1.0 on my old notebook, which runs on Windows Vista SP2 and which I almost don't use anymore, and the update ran s...

Error when updating to 1.7.1

I'm getting this error when using Auto-Update: Scrivener is not currently running from its last installed location. Strangely enough, the locations look the same to me but the setup program still detects a mismatch. error.png I have only one instance of version 1.6.1.0 installed on my system, and I ...

Converting Inline Footnotes with Italics to Inspector Footno

Hey, long time no see, but the 1.5 beta is looking great! Amazing, amazing job. The Inspector Footnotes look specially attractive... but they allow for no formatting (bold and italics) do they? Also, when I tried to convert an Inline Footnote to an Inspector Footnote I lost some text because the ori...

Re: BETA 046 RELEASED

Paulo, I thought I told you stand in the corner and be quiet? Seriously... I'm fiddling with it now. There is another shortcut Ctrl+Alt+5 which you're probably aware of that brings up the goto menu that can be navigated with the arrow keys. Not as good as Prev and Next doc shortcuts - which are pre...

Re: BETA 046 RELEASED

Yay! This looks very polished to me! If I have to make a complaint it's my usual one: my favorite shortcuts doesn't seem to work in Full Screen mode. For instance, Ctrl + K > Split at selection Shift + Alt + Right Arrow > Go to next document That said, please let's pay for this beauty already! :mrgr...

Re: LEE'S UPDATE - BETA 035 RELEASED

I love that I can use Alt+Shift+Right to navigate to the Next Document without touching the mouse, but can someone confirm this shortcut still isn't working in Fullscreen Mode?

May I ask for it to work there?

Amazing progress, by the way!

Re: LEE'S UPDATE - BETA 029 RELEASED

Looking great! ...but my beloved navigational keyboard shortcuts seem to be broken in Beta 029. In Beta 026 I could use ALT+SHIFT+SIDE ARROWS to navigate do the next/previous document in the outline, while mantaining the focus on the main editor (see here ). I was hoping that in this version these n...

Navigational Shortcuts ←

YAY!

I've just discovered that in Beta 026 I *do* can use ALT+SHIFT+SIDE ARROWS to navigate do the next/previous document in the outline, while mantaining the focus on the main editor. Now if only those shortcuts would work in fullscreen mode, my happiness would be complete!

Please?

Re: LEE'S UPDATE - BETA 026

IN FULL SCREEN MODE CTRL + ALT + ARROWS UP AND DOWN - Without leaving Full Screen editing mode, open the next/previous document from the outline While using the main editor, as well, it would be great to navigate up and down the documents in the binder without having to touch the mouse. I tried the...
