Re: Font Pasting Size Bug 1.2.5.0

Thanks for the response. To answer your questions: 1. It seems any text I copy from Google Chrome Web browser and paste in. First it was something I typed in my wordpress installation. Then it was from Wikipedia. The format bar showed the font size as -1. Below is a screen cap. Selecting just the te...

Re: Compile Font Problems

Pigfender--

That's it.

And it also answers the next question I would inevitably had about formatting titles.

Thank you abundantly!

Re: Compile Font Problems

Still having the problem--but narrowed it down. I re-installed Scriv and tried again. I chose "Compile", made sure "as-is" was not checked, went to formatting, chose Level 1+ and hit "Modify", then in the new window clicked the "A" for font selection. The defa...

Re: Compile Font Problems

Strike all that. Editing this response. I made sure "Compile As-Is" was unchecked. That solved the problem when I chose the "Novel Preset". Then I made sure all my levels were correctly formatted and changed to Garamond. Then I saved it as a new preset. Then I saved both as a .do...

Compile Font Problems

Compile is not working correctly for me. In the "Formatting" section I chose Level 1+ (and all the others!) changing the font to Garamond. I hit compile, checked the output file and lo...not Garamond. I even made sure to check the "Override text and notes formating" box. Thinking...

Font Pasting Size Bug 1.2.5.0

The bug is back. When I cut text from one source and paste into Scrivener, I am not always able to change the font and size to my preferred choice. The font size will say -1, but I cannot change it to another size. This bug was in 1.01, fixed on another release and is back again. The temporary solut...

Re: Crtl+Z Bug Disappearing Text

Thanks! It wasn't an old document, sadly. I lost about 800 words, but I've gotten over it now. :)

Crtl+Z Bug Disappearing Text

Found another! I had a mess of text. I highlighted text and chose: Split with Selection as Title. Realized I didn't want that, so I hit Edit>Undo (and re-tested with Ctrl+Z) and the split text disappeared, leaving behind the new document and title, but no text. No text there nor in the original. Whi...

Re: What happened on release?

What pigfender said. Post those details. You may also try a complete uninstall, deleting any remaining files/folders, including the folder in users/appdata/local/scrivener and then install the latest download from the website. I didn't have any trouble on either my laptop nor desktop, so there is so...

Mixed Font Selection and Changing Bug 1.01

I am typing in the editor using the Calibri font. I have a secondary window open with another document that is in the Palatino Linotype font. I highlight and copy some text in Palatino and paste it in the first document. So I have half a sentence in one font, and half in the other. Here's the proble...

Re: Importing AND Compiling Word

Yes, using Office 2010, Windows 7, 64-bit. And I confirmed the problem with Office 2010 32-bit: On the affected machine I uninstalled Office 2010 32-bit and installed 64-bit Office. Scrivener imports now! AND it compiles to .docx too. So the problem is the 32-bit Office 2010 on the 64-bit Win7. Whew...

Re: Importing AND Compiling Word

Ok. Did more experiments, and Scriv will definitely import .txt and .rtf docs fine. Still leaves the fact that it hates my 32-bit Word and its files. I even tried to import a .doc file not created on this machine. No go.
