Re: 28th MARCH - Reference Documentation

Just jotting things that jumped out at me while reading through it, most of these will be suggestions rather than major issues. p.5 "Example: Alt- E which matches FileExportFiles..., means you should hold down all two of these modifier keys," Change to "means you should hold down bo...

Re: 21st NOV - LEE'S UPDATE & NEAT TRICK

I'm a QA Manager of a Seattle game company, and I have to give you a lot of props for how you guys have handled the beta on this one. It's not easy to "crowdsource" the testing like this, and get meaningful results. Your team has done an awesome job of listening, responding and communicati...

Re: 9th NOV - LEE'S UPDATE

How awesome is Scrivener for Windows? I've already doubled my output from my last attempt at NaNo, and I'm still going strong. That's how awesome. The tool, even in beta form, does what it needs to, doesn't try to do too much, and just lets you get it done. I love the corkboard feature (that's why I...

Bug: Multi monitor setup and Fullscreen [BUG LOGGED]

So I found another minor issue last night. I have a two monitor set up on my home desktop. I had moved the scrivener window to the left monitor (secondary) where I prefer it for reading and editing. When I showed my wife the cool full screen feature, it put it over on the primary monitor rather than...

Re: Bug: No way to undo Autopopulate of index card

Sorry, to clarify my original post:

it changed the synopsis for the document.

I wrote the whole plot out in notecards in a fit of inspiration, and I'm going to be relying on my memory for that first chapter of what I wanted to write.

Fairly impressed and writing...

So far I've been pretty impressed with the ease of writing in this. I've enjoyed the corkboard and I've already mapped out a decent story line, and started writing. The quickness with which I was able to just start writing is a mark of a good UI. Regarding the Corkboard: I'd love to have the ability...

Bug: No way to undo Autopopulate of index card[NOTED]

Minor issue, but frustrating nonetheless.

I had no idea what the autopopulate button did, so I clicked it (it's a problem I have).

It over wrote all my notes for that chapter, and there was no way to get it back.

I lost the information, which was kind of useful.
