Re: Disable Spell Check for Annotations

I see what you mean. Thanks for looking into this and explaining why it can't be done for now. :)

Re: Corkboard Strings

since threads on the corkboard are just one way of viewing the information, it should be possible to set the relationship directly in the inspector reference list as well This makes sense. It can be a subtype of internal reference, added via the "+" button in the Document References panel...

Disable Spell Check for Annotations

Annotations can contain many custom shorthands. For instance, I often omit vowels in annotations for speed and to take up less space on screen. They trigger the auto-correct in spell check. Adding them to the custom dictionary is not an option since they should be picked up as mistakes in the main t...

Re: Corkboard Strings

I think a better solution would be to somehow make that special link prominent, rather than tuck it away as an internal value. If you choose to visually link two cards together, that should be expressed somehow in the references list, right amongst the other links that were not deemed so prominent....

Edit Saved Searches

It would be great if there's a way to edit the parameters of a saved search. At present, a new search has to be performed and saved to get results according to different criteria, which is a small hassle if one has already assigned a custom name and label colour to the saved search. Thanks making Sc...

Re: Corkboard Strings

This is a really cool idea and would be a great way to visualize things on the corkboard. The implementation difficulties are understandable though. Would it be possible to treat the strings as a special class of references that are 1) purely visual and 2) only internal? They can be listed separatel...

Re: 1.0.3 - First line indent question

Thanks for the keyboard shortcuts, MM. You just saved me from a lot of frustration. :D Hopefully this will be something possible in a future version.

1.0.3 - First line indent question

It would be nice to be able to remove the first line indent using "Delete" alone, without resorting to the ruler. In Word, the first line after a paragraph break is automatically indented, but if you want the line to be flush with the left margin (for a subtitle, for example), positioning ...

1.0.3 - Pasted text from MS OneNote turns into image

Procedure: 1. Select block of text in OneNote. Press Ctrl-C to copy. 2. Ctrl-V to paste into Scrivener document editor. Behaviour: Block of text is pasted in as image. The text cannot be edited or individual characters/words selected. Expected behaviour: Pasted content should be regular editable text.

Re: Beta Tester Names for 1.0

I've only been able to make a few suggestions in the early betas before life and work kicked my butt, so I probably don't qualify for a beta tester credit. But I still check into this forum on a regular basis to see how the project is progressing. It has been very gratifying and instructive to see h...

Re: 24th JAN - LEE'S UPDATE

I think the idea of letting third-parties develop plug-ins is very exciting. Just look at all the extensions that make Firefox, Thunderbird, etc so versatile and fun to use. You guys have a great vision for Scrivener :D

Re: Unrecognized Real Word

I've had Scrivener not recognize some common words too. I usually just highlight the word, right-click, and select Learn Spelling to add it to the dictionary (its vocab is rather limited!)

Strikethrough[NOTED]

It'd be really nice to have a keyboard shortcut for strikethrough, as the only to apply it now is through the menu system. I think this exists on the Mac version.

BTW, thanks, Lee, for all the work you're putting in.
