having trouble keeping up with all the betas, which expire too quickly. Truly would be easier if you would just notify of updates and allow us to continue using it without being forced to re-download and re-install. Any ideas on that?

I downloaded current beta yesterday, wrote a complete first chapter, which is now displaying as solid black blocks the size of the paragraphs.

yes, i too prefer not to work with it maximized. I have a fairly good-sized laptop and can't see the bottom, which falls behind the taskbar, too.
