Re: How do I "save as" to different locations??

I had the same problem, but apparently the current document is the one on my flash drive, and the one on my computer's hard drive is the old copy that I couldn't copy over with the "Save As . . ." function. It would only be a minor issue except for another issue I am having. I think it is ...

Re: Printing or exporting a synopsis

I feel really stupid, but when I click on the Compile button (this occurs both in the Windows beta and the Mac NaNo trial), all I get is a very small window. At the top, it says "Compile" Under that, it says "Export or print your draft for submission or final formatting in a dedicated...

Re: My First Impressions (Phil Collins Approved*)

My solution has been to mainly do my novel in the Mac version of Scrivener and use the Windows beta for other stuff (I actually created a whole project just to log bugs!) that either 1) isn't urgent/able to be recreated easily or 2) has a version either in hard copy or online somewhere. So far, I'm ...

Re: My project disappeared

I am running Windows XP, and this happened to me, also :(. Luckily, I was mostly typing in stuff that had already been written by hand, but it's still pretty discouraging to lose an entire project. I, too, had saved numerous times, and I've looked all over my hard drive and Dropbox and well, everyth...

Re: Typewriter Sounds?

Ooh, thanks for the tip! I like the sounds too, and on my Mac version, I downloaded keyclick, but that won't work for Windows, so hopefully, this will do the trick.

Thanks again!

Corkboard+Inspector View

Maybe this is something that's scheduled to be changed, but I wish I could expand the corkboard further to the right when the inspector is up. I don't think the inspector needs to be that big, and I'd like more corkboard and less inspector when I'm in that view. I know you can get rid of the inspect...

Re: Full screen

As far as I know regarding this: "I'll keep an eye on the beta but without these features I won't be using Scrivener for NaNoWriMo, despite the possibility of obtaining the discount" I don't think you have to actually use Scrivener for NaNoWriMo to get the discount. To blatantly copy what ...

Re: Opening Mac 2.0 Project

It must have been that I had the Mac version open at the same time -- that didn't even occur to me (gah, I'm going to be a terrible beta tester). It opened fine tonight. I did, however, save it beforehand, so I knew it wasn't that. Thanks for the suggestion!

Typing Disappearing in Split Screen (horizontal) [FIXED]

Problem with the split screen: Background: I’ve been using Scrivener to make my notes about any bugs I find. I want to make sure I’m following the guidelines, so I have a document called “How To” where I copied the instructions on how to make a proper bug report. What I did/expected to happen: I hav...

Opening Mac 2.0 Project[ADDRESSED]

Background: I have downloaded the preview of the Mac 2.0 version and also the Windows beta. My hope was to be able to open the same project in both computers. What I did/expected to happen: I have been using Dropbox for all my back-ups, and I just recently saved the new version of my project in the ...
