Re: I am outraged!

Yeah, I feel like I've missed something? Can we share indignation? Light bags of cat poop on the offender's steps? TP their houses?

Re: The plan: Ubuntu wine scrivener

FYI, you might need to clean up some Scrivener/wine processes once you close out of 2.9.x Scrivener. It doesn't exit cleanly for me. lsof | egrep "wine" should find them all. Note the quotes.

Screenwriting mode podcast format?

So I'm working on a story about a fictional podcast. The narrative bits that are from the podcast I wanted to have in the form of a podcast script. Is this a specific format in the podcasting world? If so, is it possible to import into Scrivener? (I'm on 2.9.13.) I really should work through the tut...

Re: [LH3137|LH2416] Freeform Corkboard Misbehaving

I think this is still an issue. I'm on 2.9.13, and if I'm in freeform corkboard, and two cards are stacked, clicking on the bottom one won't move it to the front. If I drag one, it'll stick to the cursor. I attached a quick-and-dirty video of it happening. I've no idea what I clicked to make it pop ...

Re: new version (13) seems to have corrupted my project...?

Open in Quick Reference, Open in Right Editor, Open in Copyholder -- all work as expected. Nothing else does. Single click does NOT open anything. Double click doesn't open as expected; it opens the parent folder in the editor. Single click doesn't do anything for me. Double-click lets me edit the ...

How do I turn on Dark Mode? I've been poking around in the menus and can't seem to find it.

Under Options, in the startup tab. :)

Re: The plan: Ubuntu wine scrivener

If you're using the new 2.9/3 beta, I'd highly recommend a 64-bit prefix. Scapple should run under it, as well, but 64-bit Scrivener is much faster than the 32-bit one.

Re: I have not been here for a while.

I, for one, would support a rebranding to "Poetry and Plonk."

Re: I have not been here for a while.

I haven't been doing much writing or creative work. A stint at a content farm kept the wolf from the door, but burned me out. Getting back in the swing of things would do wonders, but the ennui of not producing is strong. A resolution, perhaps? I do miss the regulars around here, that's for certain.

Could you use multimarkdown and LaTeX to do hyphenation formatting? Is MMD in yet? :)

Hrm. Could very well be a WINE thing.

Beta 11, 64-bit, no Scratch pad shortcut?

I'm doing ctrl-shift-zero. (ctrl-shift-o brings up keywords.) It doesn't crash Scrivener anymore, but it also doesn't bring up the Scratch Pad. I don't currently have that configuration used anywhere else. (The only other program I had open at the same time was Chrome, but it's not used there, eithe...

Re: Document printing is all blank (outline printing is OK)

I just came here to report this one, as well. If I do "print current document," it's blank. I know I've printed in versions previous to the most current one, too.

Re: Scrivener and Scapple

I think they're planning on updating Scapple to work with Scrivener 3.0? I seem to recall something about it.
