Re: Scrivener portable

I haven't experienced any problems in running Scrivener off of a flash drive so far, and I've run it under XP, 7, and Vista without issue. It's running right now with a small project open and it's only eating 4.8 MB of memory. I do have to note that I didn't bother installing Scrivener directly to t...

Re: Major Scrivener Crash

Maybe I'm wrong, but this doesn't sound like a software issue. You mentioned that shutting down the computer for 45 minutes and turning it back on got it working okay. If your problems improve or disappear with some time off it's almost always a case of overheating. Now, some of the bugs in Scrivene...

Re: 29th Oct Version - Can't Change Index Fonts under Corkboard

I can change the fonts but I can't change the font size. It reverts back to pt 8 for me no matter what. I can confirm this as well. I can use whatever font I want, but have no control over the size. It doesn't matter if the text was written in Scrivener or was imported or pasted from something else.

Re: .rtf import issues

It appears this is more complicated than I thought. I originally got rid of it by turning off track changes and then saving it as an .rtf, but it seems I did something else to it as well. After digging into it a little, it looks like the -360 thing is caused by line spacing other than single. After ...

.rtf import issues[ADDRESSED]

It appears all kinds of strangeness occurs when you import an .rtf that was created by Word 2003 that has track changes enabled on it. The most obvious sign is a negative number like -360 or -240 at the beginning of any line that has been indented, centered, etc. The other sign is that it imports al...

Re: Import folders and files from one project to another

Actually, I was thinking of something similar. Would it be possible to implement a project agnostic section in the binder for storing ideas and concepts that don't fit in a project but may be useful later, or for things that have relevance to multiple projects? For example, sometimes I write up char...
