I downloaded 023 back in April and have been very happy with it. But I recently noticed when doing a software cleanup that it's 439 MB! So I uninstalled it and reinstalled When I download it said it's 43.9 MB. But when I looked back at the program files it's listed as 439 MB. Why the disparity and h...
Personally, I’d prefer to see a new beta before the end of May as I like playing with new/amended features – a new one every week would be great. I think Lee would go off the deep end with that request. Remember, this is not Microsoft. There are only 4.5 staff members and Lee is doing the bulk of t...
You have to remember that Scrivener is not a replica of MS Word, and although Scrivener may share some similar features with Word, they will function differently. In this case, the annotations (or comments) fade in body of the editor. If you click on the faded annotation it will darken so you can se...
Don't feel sad. I rather it be as close to perfect when it's ready for purchase. I'm actually excited for the longer wait, we might get an extra and unexpected surprise in the final version.
Thanks for this MM. For some reason I wasn't make the connection between annotations and comments. I was thinking more of an annotated footnote. Just used it for a section in my MS and it's great.

StaceyUK, A typewriter? Is that remotely related to a record player? Kidding. I'm not that young. Although, I haven't used a typewriter since my undergraduate days, and that was 20+ years. But now that the ergonomic features have been outlined, I think I understand why I've had the stiff back and sh...
Ugh, it didn't occur to me to go to Corkboard option and change it from there. I think that's how I did it several versions back. That deserves a whack on the side of the head . Thanks for the reminder!
I just tried to change the index card font and size for both the title and the text, and it doesn't take the change. It always goes back to the default of Courier 12 pt for the title and 10 pt for the text.
Wow! So happy I didn't sign-off for the night and checked the forum one more time. Now I can color-code to my heart's content! Thank you so much for all your hard work! Have fun as the weekend kid taxi service!
