Re: 11th NOV - LEE'S UPDATE

http://polldaddy.com/ is worth a look, though the free plan may be too limiting.

http://flisti.com/ is another possibility.

Nice inspiring quote, by the way!

Re: 9th NOV - LEE'S UPDATE

Suggestion: Google Moderator http://www.google.com/moderator/#0

It's an easy way to get input from a lot of people and a great tool to prioritize bug fixes via democratic voting. Worth a look, at any rate.

Thanks for the update!

Re: What I am noticing

I am using what I understood to be the latest, but as mentioned elsewhere it is a little difficult to be absolutely certain cos of the lack of "help about". I downloaded on the 3rd. Did you get the 1.2 update here? http://www.literatureandlatte.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=9100 Just...

Re: Love it!

Oh, definitely! I was always jealous, too -- not so much anymore.

The organizational tools are great. Beats having folders full of notes scattered all over the place (I'm, ah, not very organized by nature).

Re: License question

If you want to use Scrivener on Windows and Mac, you'll have to buy a license for each. If you had, say, two Windows computers, you are allowed to use one license for both computers. The Windows development effort is separate from the Mac effort, which is why Literature and Latte need to do it that ...

Re: 2nd NOV - LEE'S DAILY UPDATE

Thanks for the continued updates. I'm always happy to see one, even a small one, and it's great to get some insight into what's happening behind the code curtain. I'd also encourage the Scrivener for Windows team to push back the launch date a bit. No shame in that -- rather have to wait a little lo...

Re: 1st NOV - LEE'S DAILY UPDATE

Thanks for the update! Even if we don't get to play with a new version today, it's great to read about progress. I'm really enjoying Scrivener's organizational and writer-friendly design. Using a different application to do the actual writing for now, but I still plug everything back into Scrivener ...

Re: FIRST LINE INDENTATION

I believe it's already been logged -- one "quick fix" I like to do to restore formatting is to select all of my text (with the cursor in the text editing pane, press CTRL + A to select everything in it), then adjust the upside-down triangle above the ruler to indent everything. Unless you ...

Re: Full screen

You guys are classy. Love it! Right now I'm writing with WriteMonkey and using Scrivener to organize. It isn't perfect, but it's workable for me. Q10 is another one I've enjoyed. (There are dozens, actually, which is great!) Full screen mode is like writing heaven. Just me and the page. I just gotta...

Hey, good luck with NaNo! This will be my first year, too. My wife is going to attempt it with me. Should be an entertaining month, heh heh.

Re: Underwhelmed But Optimistic

Awww c'mon ladies and gents, don't get angry at each other. My (limited and under-caffeinated) point is that we can all be friendly with each other even if we don't necessarily share the same expectations or requirements for Scrivener. I don't want the "I like it!" and "I don't like i...

Re: ****27th Oct BUG UPDATE from Lee****

Definitely going to echo the person above me. I've been in marketing betas and real betas for various software, but one thing has always held true: if the initial beta is, at its core, a solid and effective product, AND if the developer(s) interact routinely with their users, then it's a safe bet th...

Full Screen Mode Hotkeys [BUG LOGGED]

The Bold, Italic, and Underline formatting tools aren't working properly for me in full screen mode when using the hotkeys. ⋅ CTRL+I (Italics) deletes any selected text and acts much like the Tab key ⋅ CTRL+B (Bold) doesn't appear to have any effect, selected text or no ⋅&nb...

Re: Full screen

I love full screen mode in any writing software, so I'm excited for some more options in the future. I have trouble using it right now because it's too bright for my eyes (I like dark backgrounds, dark pages, and text that isn't too bright). Otherwise I feel like I'm staring into headlights with my ...
