Outliner Columns with Numbers (1.5.3.0)

I was using the Outliner to look at the word counts for all my documents and found that if you only had Title and Word Count fields selected to be shown the numbers for the word count would be at the far right of the screen like below. This is because it's tied to the boundary of the right margin fo...

Re: Undo Jumps Cursor to Page Top

Yes, that's exactly it. I'm sorry my earlier explanation wasn't more clear.

Re: Undo Jumps Cursor to Page Top

Nope, no macros or altering my default keyboard. I altered the Scrivener shortcut for Strikethrough but I don't think that would apply?

Re: Undo Jumps Cursor to Page Top

This issue still persists even upon the creation of a new project. It seems to only happen after a text color change. All other functions the cursor behaves normally after the undo operation.

Keyboard Shortcuts for Font Color and Highlight

I was wondering when this would be implemented? It's rather awkward to try and change font colors when going back and revising without keyboard shortcuts. Same in regards to highlighting. In addition to that, Scrivener is unable to select non-sequential lines of text. Is that going to be a permanent...

Re: Undo Jumps Cursor to Page Top

I don't have access to the project right now but it was a new one I just created after updating to the latest version. I have no issues with projects created before the project. I'm wondering if the "Typewriter Scrolling in New Projects" option is part of the cause. I'll check once I get b...

Re: After Update: Can't Launch by Clicking Project File

The production team knows and has it on it's list to be dealt with.

Undo Jumps Cursor to Page Top

After installing the update, it seems that when you undo an action in the editor it jumps the cursor to the top of the page. You then need to scroll down to the point where you were before and click to place the cursor there again.

I don't believe this happened before the update.

Re: How to share projects

For you to share the contents of your Scrivener project, you need to zip up the entire folder and send it to your writing partner. Sharing the .scrivx is like sharing just the executable for a program. For using with Dropbox, you should place zips (.zip) of your whole project folder in there and the...

Re: text getting cut off when exporting or compiling

Nope, I've never messed with them. I just select which files and which format and that's it. I've never played around with any of the other settings.

Re: text getting cut off when exporting or compiling

The page settings are at 1" for all four borders in mine. I'm not exactly sure where the ruler settings are but when I display it on the document I'm working on it looks fine. I'm confused as to why these settings would be different for some documents and not others especially when created orig...

Re: text getting cut off when exporting or compiling

Was this ever figured out?

I'm running into this issue off and on with no discernible pattern and would like to get this fixed.

Re: Autosave question

Like pigfender says, the save process goes largely unnnoticed and that's where I prefer it instead of having to worry about if I had saved frequently enough after something catastrophic happened. There are plenty of times when I pause just long enough for Scrivener to save then continue on without e...

Re: Autosave question

For me, the advantage over the old method is more frequent saves so my work has less chance of being lost than having to wait a specific amount of time between autosaves.

There is still the option to manually hit save every time you feel it's necessary if you don't prefer the autosave method as is.
