Re: Close and exit options[NOTED]

On reflection, IMO it should probably be default ticked instead of default un-ticked like at the moment. Also, when it is un-ticked you don't need all three menu items so "close all" should probably get hidden or greyed out if the option is de-selected. I agree with you, here. Default tic...

Re: Close and exit options[NOTED]

Lol VJC. I'd guess that "close project" closes the current project, "close all" closes all open projects & leaves the start panel & Exit totally closes the program. That's would be the only reason to have all three menu items anyway. This is pretty much what I said in my ...

Re: Close and exit options[NOTED]

Thanks for the replies. I still have an unanswered question though. Like I said, I did try checking "show start panel when no projects are open" and now I understand that it is not working right now. But, when that option is working in the future, will the three choices under FILE have dif...

Close and exit options[NOTED]

Scrivener is a great program, and I can't wait till it is up for sale and running smoothly. Meanwhile, everyone has different bugs that drive them a little crazy. Mine aren't biggies, but these are the two that are driving me a little batty. :) First, the corkboard font size that can't be changed, b...

Re: NaNoWriMo 2010--DONE! Thanks to Scrivener!

Congrats, all you NaNo winners! I just finished myself and the first thing I did was take a shower! Lol! Scrivener was such a joy to use in the process, and it's going to make editing so much easier. I wrote a good deal of my novel on my alphasmart neo and transferred it into it's designated chapter...

Yes, this is what's happening for me also. To clarify, I can change the font, but no matter what font or font size I choose it reverts back to tiny 8 pt font size.

Re: 29th Oct Version - Can't Change Index Fonts under Corkboard

Yep. I get this too. When I clicked the box the allows dropping dragged items onto cards, and hit apply, the index card fonts both changed to 8pt. Now, when I try to change them to anything else, it doesn't work.

Re: WinScri - Checking Daily?

To tide you over, we've uploaded a video showing how to get up and running in Scrivener, and there's a Windows variant of the video: http://www.literatureandlatte.com/blog/?p=171 It was great to come back from my weekend with no internet access to find these. Thanks for making new videos for us to ...

My Ipod says that there are just 82.50 hours left until Scrivener time! If they give it to us at 9 am EST, that is! Obsessing much? Who me?

Re: WinScri - Checking Daily?

I am probably just going to do manual copy and paste as I organize things how I like it. I am pretty just using one single file and throwing ### to divide out ideas. Thanks Jakob! Of course, that's what I should do, as well. All I have are character backgrounds, setting, world building stuff and a ...

Re: WinScri - Checking Daily?

No doesn't sound silly at all. Thanks, Jakob. :D Currently I am biding my time laying my NaNo ideas out in text files to be ready to import. I have been doing the same, but thanks for reminding me that they must be in .txt or .rtf. I've been using my Alphasmart Neo and downloading to Word. I need t...
