Re: Strange fullscreen behaviour

It’s a bit unusual to find a sheet within a sheet (which is where it looks like things got a little unhinged), so I’m not surprised you didn’t run into it everywhere else. Some of that stuff is only somewhat "Mac software", too. Slack is a web app in a box, basically, and Photoshop uses a...

Re: Strange fullscreen behaviour

This happens for you repeatedly, even after a reboot? I see nothing like it at all on 10.15.3. Both the compile sheet and its subsidiary file save sheet come up in the right location, and no desktop switching occurs. I've not tried rebooting (this is my dev Mac, so I rarely reboot unless there's a ...

Persistent crashes when reordering project folders

iOS 12.3.1 iPad Pro 2018 (12.9”), fully up to date app. I have the binder set to expanded (extra wide). Today I’ve been breaking up chapters into smaller chapters for pace and noticed a couple of issues: 1) Creating a new folder always sticks it at the bottom of the folders. It’d be great if it plac...

Re: Split screen in IOS

Another related glitch doing this is that it does not appear that you can resize these panes.

Re: Split screen in IOS

I just tried to do this as described here: https://www.literatureandlatte.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=35889 and it works fine: swipe left on the title of the document in Binder until I can see "More" option, then click "Quick reference". This creates a second pane containing that d...

Re: Does Scrivener Support Apple Pencil Writing?

Not that I can see, either. I have taken a few notes with the Apple Pencil and copy pasted the output into Scrivener, but not directly.

DropBox can be found in the Apple Appstore (and is free) as with any other App. You’ll need to register with DropBox before you can use it (but, again, it’s free, all you need is an email address).

Re: IPad Pro 2018 support

Please just support the new screen size and resolution of the latest iPad Pros. Scrivener is one of my main tools I rely on this beautiful device and it‘s a shame and annoying day by day to see these black borders around the app, not being able to use the entire screen. ? I don’t see any borders (l...

Re: Autocorrect capitalization error.

For me, given I have a keyboard attached, I was able to turn off capitals for Hardware Keyboard. Still not ideal :?

Re: Autocorrect capitalization error.

This is really annoying me too. Has anyone found a solution, or is it just a case of globally turning it off?

Re: Autocorrect not working

I have it turned on in the iOS setttings, and the Scrivener settings. I spell teh and hit the space bar, and nada. Just stays the same. I must be missing something. This happened to me too. I had to go into iOS Settings > Keyboards and toggle off/on the spelling options. Magically it all started wo...

Re: Considering Mac to iPad switch — features?

From iOS Scriv project list screen: Press Edit > Select project > Press Send a Copy (upward arrow in box, lower left corner) > Select your target > Press Upload Here. It sounds like you already realize that DropBox is insufficient for backup purposes Oh dear, feeling for That Person. Anyway, thanks...

Re: Considering Mac to iPad switch — features?

I have been using an iPad Pro (12.9) in anger now for about a week and the experience has been pleasant. I’ve had to make a few minor adjustments to how I work, but I think it’s a mostly superior writing experience, from a focused writing point of view... there are far fewer distractions :) Issues /...
