1.7.1.0 Word by word selection with mouse makes text jump

I know similar issues have been addressed before, but this particular case seems to linger. Steps to reproduce: 1. Select typewriter scroll mode. 2. Go to a document that is longer than one screen page. 3. Double-click and drag somewhere in a document, start at a position that is a bit up or down fr...

Do you want a better Swedish spelling dictionary?

I have compiled a Swedish dictionary with more than 280.000 words. It is a compilation of free lists from among other places runeberg.org. If anyone wants to use it, go ahead and download it from this very un-fancy page: http://www.thenook.se/dl/svenska2.htm . I have put some effort in spellchecking...

Re: BETA 1.7.0.5 Released on 24th April 2014 (LATEST)

I'm looking forward to all the great changes and fixes. Just a comment on the links to the detailed list of fixes for beta 3 and 4, they don't actually point to the lists.

Re: [1.5.7.0] Inserting footnote changes mouse pointer

This is still an issue in 1.6.1.0. I'm using Windows 8.1. Restarting Scrivener seems to be the only way to get the correct mouse pointer back.

Wrong reference in help document

In section 12.1.4 in the help file, there is a reference to where I can find the setting for "small font" on the index cards. The reference is to section B.3, the Corkboard tab in Options. Eventually I found the setting in B.2, which handles the Appearance tab in Options.

Re: USER POLL - WHAT SHOULD DEFAULT ZOOM BE?

I'd like to be able to set my own default zoom (since my vote appears in one of the bars that is not the winning one).

Re: How to download Beta 1.8

I tried the Help-Check for updates a couple of times and only got the dialogue shown on attached image. But then on my third or possibly fourth attempt the Download button appeared. I did nothing in between except for opening and closing IE a couple of times. The installation guide was slightly conf...

Re: Navigational shortcuts

You're right, there are many occasions where it would be handy with those shortcuts. Thanks for the information. A note though: On my Swedish keyboard any combination using square brackets is bound to fail. It is a common problem with programs that are Mac based, most notably Photoshop. Also combina...

Re: Navigational shortcuts

And there it was. Fantastique! I hadn't notised those arrows. However, when I use it to browse back to my document I am still in the binder and have to click in the text to get there. But I guess that's the beta version. Thanks! Not one of my most observant moments I'm afraid. About the linear brows...

Re: Navigational shortcuts

One thing I really miss, and which I assume this thread is about, is a navigation system similar to the one in Internet Explorer. I'm talking about those two arrow buttons in the upper left corner of every Internet browser. Every time I have browsed in the binder to find some information that is rel...

Re: Shortcut for switching to document?

I'm looking forward to this particular shortcut, then. Ctrl-Tab sounds like an excellent idea since there are no mdi child windows (like in Excel, and old Word verisons) for which this key combo is usually used.

Shortcut for switching to document?

I prefer using the keyboard as far as possible, but I can't figure out one important shortcut. When I am navigating in the binder with the arrow buttons and have reached the desired document, what shortcut do I use to jump to the document text to start writing (and vice versa, jump from text to bind...
