Re: Scrivener 3 Latex to PDF

Good Day Everyone, I am new to Latex and Scrivener. I would like to use Scrivener to make a mathematical documentation for my colleagues, I would like to do this over Scrivener since I feel more organized writing papers on it. Is there any way to Export/Compile directly to PDF file? I hope to get s...

Re: uninstaller cleaner

Thank you for this. I will use it for stuff. BUT::::: given that the update installer did NOT remove the previous version, beta users should be provided a tool to remove all traces of the beta versions. How is that not reasonable? Well, to do that level of removing from the Beta times point of view...

Re: [RC20] Performance worse than ever

I'm running Scrivener 3 on a powerful Windows 10 Surface laptop. ...can one get one's money back? Alexander, this kind of falls under the categorry 'there's something really wrong'. Dancing cricles or beachballs for seconds is definitely not the way Scrivener performs. I had a quick look, and turne...

Re: How I removed multiple beta entries in add remove programs

I had this problem too, but leaving the entries in the 'Add Remove Programs' list was annoying me. These can pretty easily be removed by deleting the entries from the registry. Yikes, Ryan, good intent for sure, but fooling around in the Registry directly can really break a Windows machine, even fo...

Re: SAVE AS causes program to close

I am having similar issues -- upgraded for V 3 yesterday ... Today,. can't save. I did the 'save as' in a folder not associated with one drive or dropbox -- same issue To be more specific - when I try to open my project file, it says the file is not readable. "The tag present in the reparse po...

Re: SAVE AS causes program to close

Thanks to narrsd for the suggestions. Solved the issue! ! Most welcome, 'rokr , glad that path got you there. It turns out I had a similar hunt a day or two later, getting rid of a Scrivener starting in wrong folder warning. It wasn't, but I uncovered a lot of leftover pieces from various kinds of ...

Re: Scrivener ate my manuscript

Are you using OneDrive, Dropbox, or a similar service? Katherine I use Polar Backup to backup my system. However as I said I setup Scrivener 3.0 on a new computer and the backup was not installed at the time I wrongly believed that Scriveners project backup would at least save all modifications and...

Re: SAVE AS causes program to close

I am a previous Windows user, and just purchased Scrivener 3.0 (Version: 3.0.0.0 (1238528) 64-bit - 23 Mar 2021). Running Windows 10 x64. Hmm, afraid that sounds like a local problem, as many of us have been running stages of Scrivener 3 for months. Just to be sure, and as I'm running latest x64 Wi...

Re: is scrivener for ipad worth it?

I think I have to echo many here by saying Scrivener iOS is a wonderful and wonderfully useful tool. Just to add, though, I came back to projects using it recently, and found it had no issues at all running on an original iPad 2, predecessor of the minis.. It runs just as nicely on a brand new iPad ...

Re: 3.0 Release - two problems - only!

That works at first and I get my upgrade token. If by "upgrade token" you mean Paddle provided you the discount coupon, then copy the discount coupon and try the solution in the thread I linked to above, as it should work for you. I think JimRac's giving a best answer here. Your crash pro...

Re: 3.0 Release - two problems - only!

Ok, I managed to pay and get the license, so here's how: - I just gave up and closed the window on the original purchase. - I did try going in again, found it remembered my discount code, which is nice, but still no PayPal forwarding - then, a while later (half hour?) hour? more?) I got an email fro...

3.0 Release - two problems - only!

Smiling, as I am very happy for your fortunate release, and these are small things. - I couldn't succeed at paying for the upgrade license, because the Paddle dialog failed at the point of clicking to use PayPal. The hand cursor shows, but nothing happens on clicking the PayPal button. The credit ca...

Re: Congratulations Team L&L!

Well, never have I seen persons put as much time, effort, and care into a prize they make for others. This has been true in earliest days, and once again in the truly enormous effort we may understand, to put together Scrivener Windows 3. I use Scrivener every day, and then some, pairing Windows and...

Re: RC21 - Session Targets - 250 word target met after making minor edits to 5 words

I think this continues from this report almost a year ago https://www.literatureandlatte.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=62830 . Good catch -- and that item seems to have had effect via Ms. Mouton, as the thing is centered now, at least on a laptop screen. But the real thing is that it should no...
