Re: Applying text styles causes scroll

That's because I of course meant Scrivener 3.0. Working on too many things at once! How can I help you reproduce this behavior? It doesn't seem to be happening in most of my Scrivener projects (just the one I'm working most avidly with, which also happens to be by far the longest). Would a video of ...

Applying text styles causes scroll

Applying text styles in Scrivener 3.0 (using both the drop-down menu and keyboard shortcuts) inconsistently causes the currently selected document to scroll down significantly. Luckily, the cursor remains in the same place, so it is easy to get back to where you were, but this doesn't seem like the ...

Re: Crash when quitting with no documents open

Quick follow-up question: would it be common for this semi-random crash on quit to happen every time I quit Scrivener, but never with any other app?

Mmm, semi-random crashes are my favorite kind of crashes.

Crash when quitting with no documents open

Scrivener frequently crashes when I quit the application with no open documents. I've submitted the auto-generated crash report several times, but was wondering whether any other users have experienced this.

Footnotes not dark in dark mode

Possibly an oversight, possibly by design, but the footnotes panel in dark mode is still light.

Indeed. I should note that, upon further review, the target does occasionally reset at midnight, but only sometimes.

Session count not resetting at midnight

What shall I do if my session count is not resetting at midnight, as instructed? It seems only to want to be reset manually. Please advise!

Dropbox sync tries to sync too many files, hangs

Wondering if anyone has had this problem and I've somehow failed to find it when searching the forums. On both my iPad and iPhone Dropbox sync will frequently fail when trying to sync more files than it intended (see attached picture, "Syncing (21 of 20 files)". It hangs at this status unt...

Scrivener is not among the top 150 Paid or Top Grossing apps in the app store. This is a bug, right?

Re: Fonts changing

A note on importing fonts: If you are syncing Scrivener for iOS to a folder in which your .scriv documents are contained in subfolders, adding fonts to a /Fonts subdirectory does not seem to work. However, if you select the font files in Dropbox for iOS and choose Export > Open In… > Scrivener, Scri...

Definition of "secondary screen"

I'll begin by saying that I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature. I frequently work with Scrivener on two monitors in full-screen mode. I have the preference to "open full screen window on secondary screen when available." I typically understand "secondary screen" to be the s...

line break after square bracket

When a word beginning with a letter or letters in square brackets occurs at the end of a line, Scrivener 2.0.2 takes the liberty of allowing the remainder of the word to break to the next line. I can't reproduce this behavior in TextEdit, so it's potentially an incorrect, Scrivener-specific behavior...

Funny, I can't get this to reproduce now either. Chalk it up to a fluke, I suppose.
