Ellipsis Change Font To Helvetica

First, I am very sorry to post another bug since I am sure there are plenty to fool with right now, and the iOS version has been working beautifully for me since purchase day one. There is only one little thing that is difficult. Whenever I type three dots '...' to form an ellipsis, or use the 'opti...

Re: View Footnote and Document Notes Panes Simultaneously

Thank you! That will help, at least I won't have to re-type my list every time! :D

Re: View Footnote and Document Notes Panes Simultaneously

In a similar vein, and so that I don't duplicate a thread, I'd like to add my wish for being able to view two or three various Inspector elements stacked up together. :) I truly love this program and it's hard to think of any way that it could be better, since you have dome such an amazing job with ...

Displaying Multiple Metadata Sections

Forgive me if this is covered somewhere, I didn't see it, but I just would love to know if there is a way to stack a bunch of metadata panels like Notes, Keywords, Snapshots on top of each other on the right side of the page, instead of having to flip through them by mouse-clicking the little tab bu...

Re: TypeWriter Mode: 2/3 Page Cursor?

Yeeey! Thank you so much! I thought there might already be a setting for this since Scrivener is in fact perfect. I just didn't see it among all the various options available, thank you so much for pointing it out. :D :D

TypeWriter Mode: 2/3 Page Cursor?

I am not sure if this goes into the wish list or help forum actually, depending on whether this feature exists now or not. That said, I would like to know (or add the suggestion for it) whether there is a way to move the cursor line in Typewriter mode from halfway down the page to closer to 2/3 down...

Re: "The word count is simply too high."

If a writer is loquacious and has serious difficulty writing less, perhaps the solution is to writer more. Much more. Perhaps she should write so much, that she is able to see just how much Story with Content she has to tell. Hmmm. I don't think it would work for me. My average story is 150K and up...

Re: How do you use "Project Notes"?

You can, sort of. Make a blank document. Set its target. It will then include the wordcount of any documents you enclose with in it as part of the target. It doesn't look like a folder? So it doesn't look like a folder. So change the icon already. Alright! I didn't even think of that. See, that's w...

Re: Journler - It's Alive!!!

In late December I purchased Tinderbox… I just downloaded Journler to see what it was like. As you indicated, it has a simple, clean interface, and I can handle that. I thought it was going open-source and free, though. :? I love Tinderbox! That's one I forgot. I have one series of stories with a p...

Re: How do you use "Project Notes"?

Do you know about the per-document words (or characters) goal you can set for each document in a Scriv. project? Yes, I noticed that, but haven't messed with it because it looks like each 'document goal' is attached to that particular document, which isn't useful for me. The way I write, I use fold...

Re: When bad characters do bad things

My protagonist is a 15 year old girl - …I didn't create her for shits-n-giggles…Her character allows me to explore emotional states I hope to never encounter (nor would I wish upon on anyone else). Having *been* a 15 year old girl at one point, that cracked me up. So, is the baddy half Me and half ...

Re: Why do you write?

I write because I can't get to Heaven any other way. There's a good quote for this by Thomas Berger: "Why do writers write? Because it isn't there." This world isn't enough, this isn't all that was supposed to exist. There was supposed to be so much more, and so much more is possible. But ...

Re: Journler - It's Alive!!!

Anyone care to explain what they use Journler for? Journler is very simply the best Journal (Diary) I have found. (I tried MacJournal and found it to be a buggy copy of Journler with more bells and whistles but less rock solid dependability.) The way I work is that every morning, first thing, I sit...
