Re: Writer's Journal/Notebook

Leuchtturm1917. Proper paper, numbered pages, index. Dream notebooks: http://www.thepaperie.co.uk/brands/leuchtturm1917?gclid=CJW77t76zK4CFZARfAodmA3cC I like the Leuchtturms a lot, but another really nice notebook for fountain pen users is the Rhodia notebooks. The paper quality is nicer then the ...

Fade In Pro screenwriting software

Have just discovered and started using, a newish screenwriting app that I think is worth sharing. It's call Fade In Pro. http://www.fadeinpro.com/ Found out about it, because it was mention on John August's Scriptnotes podcast. Craig Mazin (writer of The Hangover part 2, Scary Movie 3 and 4 etc.) me...

Re: "TheBoard" - feedback wanted on simple brainstorming app

Ok, I'm a bit late to the party on this one but I'm really digging the potential of this app, so I thought I'd throw in my 2 cents. First off Keith, you are brilliant. A mind mapping like writing app with out the restrictive tree structure, love it. The fact that it doesn't impose a structure is imp...

WritingRoom 3 for Ipad

Hogbay software has released WritingRoom 3 for Ipad. Only had time to look at it briefly, but it does every thing that plaintext was doing and then some. Deals well with folder structures on dropbox. Has a nice expanded keyboard. Supports Textexpander, etc. Looks like I might finally be able to inte...

Daedalus for ipad

I downloaded this on the weekend. Haven't really written much in it but so far, but from an interface perspective, its the nicest writing app I've tried on the ipad. What is interesting is it's use of the paper stack metaphor to replace the normal file management systems used by other apps. This is ...

Re: FDX Reader For iPad

Well, I purchased this to read scripts I'm working on, on the ipad. I am exporting as FDX from Scrivener and so far, without fail, FDX reader crashes when I try to open these files. I've emailed their support, but I have a feeling the answer is going to be that that the issues is that the file has b...

Re: index card to full screen trouble

is the scene definitely a text document and not an image, PDF or web file or suchlike? Also, is the card selected and does the corkboard have the focus? (Like I say, it sounds as though you've checked all of that but I have to ask.) Hey Keith, thanks for the reply. Yes the scene is definite a text ...
