Opening Scapple for MacOS on Scapple for Windows formatting issue

Hi, I opened some Scapples I created on MacOS on Windows and it looks completely different on WIndows; the notes are basically all smooshed together and on top of each other. In my complex Scapples, it's very hard to reformat manually. Is there some sort of auto formatting I can do or a way to retai...

Re: Strange scrolling behavior

Thanks, Ioa. Fingers crossed that Apple fixes this issue in the next release. It really makes comparative editing a real chore!

Strange scrolling behavior

When I am using two panes and I scroll in one pane and lift up, the "momentum" of the scroll is applied to the other pane. In other words, if I swipe on the trackpad in one pane and lift up, suddenly the other panel begins to scroll. The behavior is intermittent and I don't see any obvious...

Manuscript Target word count incorrect

After restarting Scrivener on a particular project, the Manuscript Target word count in Project Targets gets reset to 5,869, which doesn't seem to correspond to the word count in any particular document. There are, however, over 40,000 words in the manuscript. As I click on other documents in the ma...

Re: Project targets not counting words

Got it. So does that mean the Session Target only counts documents that are set to "Include In Compile"?

If so, does that also mean that any words I write in a document I did not know was excluded from the compile will not be counted in that day's session?

Project targets not counting words

Hi, it appears that even if "Count documents included in compile only" is NOT selected, when a document is not selected for compile, new words written in it are not counted towards the session target. However, when the document IS selected for compile, while the "Count documents inclu...

Re: Feature request: 'collapsible' Scapples

I second this feature request, though with an alternative, perhaps complimentary, suggestion on how to implement it: Instead of "collapsing" a node, you could "zoom into" the node, revealing its underlying details, much in the way that business process diagrams use "levels&q...

Re: Project Targets and Front Matter

Got it, thanks. I had put the Intro in the Front Matter because I thought that was the best way to make sure the Intro didn't get a title prefix ("Chapter X:") added to it. But now I see that I can selectively determine which documents are excluded from getting title prefixes/suffixes with...

[RESOLVED] Project Targets and Front Matter

It looks like Project Targets don't count up words written in the Front Matter section. Is there a way to make it do so? I've got my Introduction in the Front Matter section and would like the writing I do in the introduction to count toward my goals.

Thanks.

Re: How to change Levels in Compile

Sorry, I was mistaken. The tag being used there is <$t>.

I emailed the project to that address. I made it a DropBox download because it's fairly large due to imported PDFs.

Re: How to change Levels in Compile

It's strange, but nothing is coming out as Chapter One. Nothing in my Front Matter is coming out with numbering. In case this helps, what I'm trying to do is create a structure like the following: PART I Chapter One Chapter Two PART II Chapter Three Chapter Four To keep me organized, I have my chapt...

Re: How to change Levels in Compile

Figured it out: Just needed to set Title Page to compile "As-Is". Perfect. Got another issue with levels, though: My first chapter ("... Difficult Question") is showing up as Chapter Two. There isn't another file/folder preceding it at the same level, so I was expecting that it w...
