Re: newest windows update doesn't work

Your link was for the Windows 10 SDK, but I'm on Windows 7 The Windows 10 SDK should work for Windows 7 and 8,1 as well as 10, at least for the WinDbg tool that we're after. Sorry you had trouble getting the SDK to install, but thank you for trying! Hold Ctrl+Shift while launching Scrivener. Scrive...

Re: CTRL + Arrow functionality not working in latest Windows update

Sorry about this! We are working on an putting together an update that will fix this. I'll report back here when it is available. In the meantime, you can continue to use the command in the outliner; in the binder you will need to use the mouse to drag and drop or use the "Move To" command...

Re: newest windows update doesn't work

The main difference between the 1.9.7 and 1.9.8 builds is that a few libraries were updated internally for a third-party converter we use, so at the moment I'm guessing that's what's causing the problem on some people's systems. We've seen before some cases where antivirus or other security software...

Thanks, this has been filed! It should be switching to Project Bookmarks only in that case.

Re: List of outstanding bugs?

We do. ;) We have an internal bug-tracking system; there are no plans to try to transform it into a publicly viewable list. If you don't see a bug you've encountered reported in the forum or listed in the beta announcement post, please go ahead and post it.

Re: [BUG] Selection text invisible against background in two dialogs

I'm not able to reproduce this on Windows 10 or 8.1, so I suspect it's either an issue running on Wine generally or with the particular version or skin of Windows--it looks rather XP-ish, which could be affecting how the selection is handled. (I'm afraid I'm not up enough on how Wine works to know w...

Re: [LH3041] Bug - Spaces remain invisible

Thanks for checking and the extra info, and thanks to everyone else who has tested and made suggestions to help figure this out. The bug is logged; in the meanwhile, I'm afraid invisibles will just look best near a 100% editor zoom. :)

Re: [BB] Bug - Spaces remain invisible

I now switched to 800% - the screenshot above was 400%. With 800% I can indeed see something. Barely. This won't do. They need to be visible at 100%. The issue seems to be that some of the marks for invisible characters--spaces and tabs--are not scaling with the editor zoom. Are you not seeing them...

Re: Meta-Data Settings

Project information is set in compile in 3.0. On the right side of the File > Compile... window, click the tag icon at the top to access the fields. Are you looking at the 1.9.7 tutorial? The 3.0 beta has an updated tutorial project which should reference this correctly. If you're in the newer tutor...

Re: [B5] Label Multi Documents Simaltaneously

The inspector only ever shows information for the single item focussed in the editor, but you can set the status or label for multiple documents via the context menu when the items are selected in the binder, corkboard, or outliner. This works the same as in 1.x.

Re: [bug] Search in Scrivenings mode searches each document separately, not all documents displayed

Thanks, this is on our list. Scrievnings isn't fully implemented yet to be treated as a single document when working in the editor, so Find, selections, formatting adjustments, etc. are not yet working across the document boundaries. For now I'm afraid you'll need to just click into the next documen...
