Is there any way for Scrivener to "learn" or automatically ignore specific grammatical "errors." I use a lot of sentence fragments and have to "ignore" every one when doing grammar checks. Thanks
Same question. V. 3.1.5. on Mac running Catalina. Be nice. But the two clicks through Document Menu isn't all that bad. I did try to create a Mac keyboard shortcut to get me there and couldn't do it but I'm probably not setting up right.
Not sure this is related but for some reason yesterday all my text files in one folder changed to script formatting and the Convert tab under Document just gives me the option of switching to Script (as opposed to back to text). I had to create untitled docs in a new folder and cut and paste my text...
Thanks. That's what I thought but I was sure I did it once. The point would be that the shortcut would pull down the menu while you pointed and clicked the file you wanted to append to. Would probably save about .001 seconds. Thanks.
I've set up Scrivener keyboard shortcuts successfully in the past [in Apple Preferences Keyboard] but, for some reason I can't get one for "Append Selection to Document" [to get the pull-down menu] I've tried: "Edit->Append Selection to Document" [the form I use for my other shor...
I can't find Customizable Colors and I know I used to be able to. So I'm getting no color on my links. Here's what my Preferences Panel looks like. What am I missing.
It's fine. In my current project it might save me a step or two if the Inspector could float and become live w/ whichever board I'm on, but no problem. Using it for the first time in a few years on a big project and it's great. Thinking of buying a projector so I can sit back and work on multiple bo...
Looks like I was dealing with this years ago and must have figured out. BUT I just tried it again, and couldn't find command, and found in manual: "13.1 Scapple 1.3 — The Inspector is now a docked sidebar in the board itself rather than a floating palette that is shared by all open boards."...
Just had to import a large document that I'm splitting into section. But there are many tables in the document and I'd like to delete them all at once (keeping the text). I'm using "remove tables" one at a time, because when I CommandA "Remove Table" isn't an option. Do I have to...
I see this question is 5 years old but I have a similar one...might just be a suggestion. I just put eight Quick Reference Panels up on my large screen and was in the process of making them all the same size so I could arrange a chapter (works better in this case than using index card synopses. I wo...
I have found auto-fill synopsis very useful over the years. But what I often do is delete all but the first sentence or two and then go to the end of the document and cut and paste the last sentence or two into the synopsis [with "..." in between] This way the synopsis gives me a sense of ...
When I drag and drop a link from, say, Safari into a Scrivener doc, it's always blue. I assume it's easy to change it to black (or other color) but all my searches say you have to do some HTML which I find hard to believe. I'm using 10.13.2, [Even if I select the entire doc and change the color to b...
