Not sure if bug or part of the OS X framework

A quick thing I came across today. If you alt-drag a note to duplicate it, once the new note is created you can't use UNDO to reverse the action, so you have to delete the new note manually if duplicating the original note wasn't your intention, or if you changed your mind.

I too am totally in love with Scapple, it's brilliant! Having been using it quite a lot for planning out and taking notes on various things, my wish list is below. I expect some or all of these will fall foul of the simple design philosophy but if you don't ask... ;-) Eddy - Snap / Grid I know this ...

Re: Strange dragging bug

I too have experienced this bug - did you get to the bottom of it Keith, or would you like another map to look at?

Cheers!

Re: Feature Contest

When I'm writing I sometimes listen to music. I hereby request a feature in Scrivener that will monitor the tracks I'm playing in iTunes in the background, derive my mood from it (genius can do it, why can't Scrivener?) and auto-suggest thesaurus words that match that mood while I'm typing. Scriv sh...

Life is interesting

Currently navigating a number of disparate threads regarding life in general at the moment. Lots to think about, although I don't think any of it is bad. I found it interesting, upon reflection, how complex our lives can become when you start weaving family, romance, accommodation and work requireme...

Re: Ellipses preference odd behavior (2.0b)

I un-selected the first four Substitutions in Auto-Correction Preferences, and tested them individually. When I turn smart quotes on, I get smart quotes while typing, when turned off, no smart quotes. When I turn em-dashes on, I get an em-dash while typing, when turned off, no em-dash. However, whe...

Re: Your revision process

I was a compulsive fiddler-rewriter for a while but I consider it a bad habit, at least for me. I found a good solution. I named some highligher colours as follows: Screen shot 2010-11-07 at 02.40.15.png Now I write (although I do tend to do a bit of 'on the fly' adjusting as I create the first draf...

Can you imagine how awesome 4.0 is going to be?

A. Keep it in the cow.

I would say that is technically true. Bah humbug to any teacher who marked that one down :)

Noooo! I was just getting into it!

I approve of this thread :)

Maybe we should continue it under the table in Ye Olde Red Lion.
