Project Target notifications

Hi,

I rely on Scrivener's project targets but notice today that I'm not getting notified when I've reached or exceeded my daily target. What's happened to the notifications? They used to make me jump...

Re: Dark and Light composition modes

No further advice required thanks. It took me a good while to work out how to get things right as I said in an earlier post. I may have used the wrong term when I said 'composition' mode. I meant when writing in the normal place with all the bells and whisltes on show. I chose a dark screen option a...

Re: Failed to load web archive error

I'm so glad I finally found this second 'thread' in the issue of lost web files. Who knew? Nobody replied to me when I last posted question about it so I found this reference to a second thread (this one) quite by accident. Anyway, it serves my purposes for now. Just to be clear, nothing is “lost”, ...

Re: Problem with importing websites after update Mac OS Mojave 10.14.4

Any update on when we can see the 'fix'? It would be nice to have an idea if possible. I've started using OneNote but have lost stuff on there before...and would rather go back to Scrivene for this..

Re: Dark and Light composition modes

Thanks. I finally discovered how to do this...when I wrote the complaint, I'd just about given up searching for it. I still think the full-screen composition mode preference ought match the composition mode in the editor. Why you'd have to set each up differently I cannot begin to imagine... Why not...

Dark and Light composition modes

Hi, I'm not sure if it's just me, but I have set Scrivener 3.1.2 so that the Editor is in Light mode against a dark/default background...I like the dark background but find a white page more appealing to write on. When I change to Full Screen Compose Mode - I am forced either to write on a black bac...

Re: Problem with importing websites after update Mac OS Mojave 10.14.4

Glad to know it was the Apple update at fault and more importantly, delighted to know I don't have to go through all my saved 'links' to try to find them again. Some being quite obscure.

Looking forward to hearing about the workaround...

thanks

web archive - lost links

Hi, I recently transferred my research for a novel I'm writing to a separate Project...so I could write in one and save info in another. All seemed well until today when I discovered that none of my web archives are live linked any more in the research Project. I copied the archves back to my workin...

Using Scrivener with iCloud Drive

Hi, I found one discussion about this topic but it was a bit cryptic for me. I have used DropBox with Scrivener for some time but dropped back to the basic storage for financial reasons and I am now looking at using iCloud Drive which, I imagine, might be even easier with multiple Mac platforms. Mos...

dropouts

HI, I've sent the error log twice or three times now. As I close one project with a view to opening another, Scrivener unexpectedly quits'. I am using the latest version of Scrivener and Yosemite and my computer is a newly. Any thoughts?

Preferences/Editor question

Hi, I was just looking around in Scriverner/preferences/editor pane this morning and cannot see how I can change pixels to cm...my brain doesn't understand pixels as a size or measurement of size.

Re: Formatting preset changes - apply to whole document

Thanks a lot. I am such a wimp sometimes - I have been playing with the compile option and had figured it out (well, almost completely) - it is a while since I've used the compile feature and it certainly is far simpler than I had remembered. Now it is great. Ta.

Re: Formatting preset changes - apply to whole document

Thanks for the advice re having Scrivenings look like Word - I have already done that. I tried the suggestion that I could export the whole document using Page View and then exporting Scrivenings as is...what happens is that the novel ends up being in a dozen different folders with scenes inside so ...

Re: Formatting preset changes - apply to whole document

This conversation interests me because, much as I adore Scrivener for everything it provides, as a writer, I do love to see my preferred fonts and have a finished look onscreen. Sending a whole document to Word or similar just to format it easily is time consuming and you can't edit there or you hav...
