I encounter similar problems. My documents in the binder has lines that are centered. But after upgrading to 1.9, all the lines are left aligned... This is crazy for me~
Hi Clive, Yes, I sent the first project zip file (in my first post) to Amber in late January, who very kindly helped me fix the problem. However, this issue just keeps coming up, and I later got another project which cannot open on PC recently. I feel it's not worth the efforts to send a file to Amb...
I checked the 'version' file, and it has 16 in it too. But the scrivx simply doesn't start at all. This is the single BIGGEST problem for me now, since when I closed the project on Mac, I cannot even open it on PC. This brings A LOT of trouble when I work in office... I also encountered the 'binder ...
As you suggested, I zipped the whole folder when I was working on Mac. Then I came to office, unzip the file, and opened the unzipped folder using Scrivener for Windows. The same thing happens: all my changes in binder (folder structure, new documents, etc.) in Mac does NOT carry over to PC. Can any...
I checked the scrivx file, and it's up to date. Now when I work on Mac and PC, the file just seems to be 2 separate versions. The changes I made on Mac do not sync to PC, and vice versa. I did follow all your suggestions on how to use Dropbox to sync files. Now this becomes more and more inconvenien...
Hi, I used Dropbox to sync files. I added a document to the binder of a scrivener file in my office PC last night, before I left office. I was sure I closed the Scrivener and Dropbox finished syncing. When I got home and open the same file in Mac, the new document I added to my binder was not there....
Hi, I work across platforms; I use Mac 2.02 version at home, and Windows Beta 1.50 at work, and use Dropbox to sync the same project. Everything works fine before. The project was originally in Mac 1.5, and I upgraded it to 2.0 after its release. However, today when I came to work, I cannot open the...
Hi, I tried to take snapshots of all documents before further revision, which is pretty handy. However, when I selected all the folders on the binder and take snapshots, it appears that the documents under the folder were not affected. I do want all of them to be affected. The only way to do this is...
Hi, I used Scrivener to organize my teaching notes and prepare exams. In the current set up, I have a pool of True/False questions each in a separate documents. Within each document, I have questions like "1.<$n> Tables in first normal form ...", so that the <$n> will be transformed to 1, ...
Yes, I used that as you said! The default option is RTFD, and there are other options (like .doc, .txt, etc.). However, there is no option for the original type, which is PPT in my case.
Hi, First off, I love Scrivener 2. It looks and uses fantastic!!! In particular, I'm thrilled to know that I can import any file in Scrivener, like PPT, etc. However, when the file is imported, it's transformed to RTFD with the PPT file as attached inside. When I double click the PPT file in scriven...
