Background color behind text

Forgive me if this has been answered but I couldn't find a direct answer on search: Is it possible to change the background color on individual text items? I work on deadline almost every day. For me, background color (black text on white; black text on peach; black text on sky blue) would be the fa...

Change icons issue

Used to be I could double tap my trackpad on the default icon in the sidebar and get the icon list. Now I have to go down to the system gear at the bottom and hunt for a menu item. I know this should seem like a minor inconvenience but it the multiple small hassles to my work flow add up. Am I doing...

'open recent' dropdown

On my laptop, the 'open recent' dropdown menu on the opening template window suddenly has no files in it, and though I continue to open scrivener files from the Mac finder, it remains empty. My desktop has no such problem. Fix ideas? Thanks.

Past Text - Destination Format

Forgive a possibly dumb question: anybody know how to past text into Scrivener so the text formatting changes from the original into the format of the destination file? In other words, I copy something in Helvetica but my Scrivener default is Goudy Old Style. When I past, the stuff remains in Helvet...

Compiling the Draft

Forgive me is this is covered elsewhere -- probably so -- but I can't fine it. My question: when compiling a draft, how do I format it so there is no separation between documents? There doesn't seem to be a button for that.
Thanks

Re: English - why I hate Americans

Actually, India should thank you for giving it English. The language is helping unite the country and make it competitive in the world economy. Furthermore, we Americans and you Brits should thank our lucky stars that English and not some other language has become the planet's common tongue. Still, ...

Re: English - why I hate Americans

Why not create your own spellcheck program? I'm sure if it's high quality it will sell well in the UK.

And BTW, the Americans have had far less effect on your native language than the British had on, say, the native languages of India.

Things change.

Text Background Colors

Is it possible to have different text background colors, one for Draft files, one for Research files? I sometimes confuse a file's origin, and this would help enormously. If it's not possible now, and if you think others would benefit, perhaps you could consider offering this option in a future rele...

Printing Research

Sorry if this has been discussed but can't find in search.

Is there any way to print everything under Research all at once? (If not, may I suggest that option for future release?)

Thanks

Convert Scrivenings to Single Document

I'm new to Scrivener, sorry if this is a dumb question, and I've RTFM and have tried to search forums for help but I'm having trouble: I've used "edit scrivenings" to combine documents, but need to know how to convert that scrivenings file to a single document that I can edit across items ...
