Re: Contraction problems on iPadOS 13 beta

I am having this same issue. It doesn’t show up in any other editor or text field for any other application that I have noticed yet. iPad Pro (First Gen) 12.9”.

Re: Caps Lock Notification

If the hardware keyboard designer couldn't be bothered to spend 50 cents on an LED, that's not really something Apple can control. Katherine But Apples Smart keyboard has no Caps Lock LED, has it? And surely Apple could control that... ;) No it doesn't. Really kinda of anoying. I wish there were mo...

Or the Logitech Create keyboard (which I have). Has a Caps Lock key but it doesn't illuminate to let you know caps lock is active, it merely acts as a toggle.

Yes, exactly. It's one of the few UI choices I think Apple didn't do well with.

Caps Lock Notification

HI! Let me start by saying that Scriverner for iOS is Amazing. I am still getting used to the interface, and how to get around in it, but so far I am very impressed. However, there is one issue, and it's not even a Scrivener issue but you may be able to fix it, at least in your app. Currently I am u...

Re: Take Snapshots of Entire Document

Perhaps this can be done with the OSX Lion auto save/version system. As far as I know only text edit and pages support this, but after playing with it, it does seem to be exactly what the OP is looking for. I am not sure of the API/Programming complexity that would be involved and I am sure it would...

So far I like it

Greetings,
I have read the "readme" file and looked over the bug lists. I has some idea of what I was getting into. So far I really like what I see. I cant wait to see how much better beta 2 is over this one.

Web App?

Now that there a Windows version available and (sort of) a Linux version, what are the chances for a web based version?

Just a thought.

Re: load time

The load time is very annoying and this forum is for feedback. Granted this is still in beta version but for the most part I like it.

I hope norm311 isn't a customer service rep.

Re: Post your Scrivener screenshots here!

All i can say is WOW! I have been underutilizing Scrivener this entire time. At first I was just learning how to organize files and use the software. Now I will spend a day or so playing around with layouts and trying some new things. Thanks to everyone for posting :)

Re: Word Count question

Actually that did help a lot :) Thanks!

Seems I tend to over complicate things. One of the many habits I am trying to break from being a windows user. Everything on my mac is just ... easy ... it tends to throw me off from time to time.

Word Count question

I have been using Scrivener for a while now and after searching the forums, Google, and even the help file, I just can't find the answer. I tend to not write an entire chapter in a single document, rather I spilt it up in to smaller 'scenes' that can move around. I also write to a set of fairly stri...

Re: Greetings and thanks

Personally I have never liked MFC or C++, which is part of the reason I know so many other languages. For now at least, I am just happy being a user. Perhaps as I learn more about how all this works I will delve in to that region.

Greetings and thanks

First of all, Thank you for creating such great software. I have been a Windows user for around 25+ years now (all the way back to DOS) and have recently starting trying out the mac. It was actually this software that got me to dare to try to switch. I know windows inside out and backwards. I used t...
