Gibberish document

Hi, I have a project with many documents, folders, sub-documents (the usual in scrivener). But one of the documents (fortunately it is just a document), I happened to chance upon, has become gibberish. I copy and paste a few lines to give an idea: \pard\tx560\tx1120\tx2160\tx2880\tx3600\tx4320\sl288...

Document Links

Hello, I would like to ask if there is an easy way to update (throughout the project) document bookmarks? For instance, I create a new document, let's call it Note A, and put 3 internal links. Then I split the document, leaving 1 internal link in the original document and 2 of the links "moved&...

Re: Feature Requests / Suggestions

I only ask for 3 things at this point: (1) Can we have "Arrow styles" just like "Note Styles", so I can apply new arrow styles with just a single click? Of course this will imply two other things: (a) We need to have "Arrow Format" when we click on the arrow, so that we...

Re: How to I add a custom bullet / list style?

Thanks for your reply. This is what I see when I click on Custom List... (from menu bar) or Other (from format bar https://image.ibb.co/jVDk2w/otherviews.png I can choose different kinds of bullet shapes/symbols or numbered lists, But I can't create my own? Appreciate more pointers if I'm wrong. Tha...

How to I add a custom bullet / list style?

I would like to add my own bullet / list style, basically use a shape or symbol that's not already on the available list. How do I go about adding that to Scrivener 3?

Thanks!!

"Manage Favorites" button?

I have a huge library of notes in my binder and using Documents > Favorites has become a go-to.

I would like to know if there is a button I can add to the toolbar (to bring up the Manage Favorites menu)? I've looked at the icons when customizing and nothing so far.

Re: Fountain (compile) adds newlines to everyline

Thank you AmberV for explaining and suggesting some workarounds. Have you tried the screenwriting feature in Scrivener? Yes, I have tried it. It was time consuming (after trying fountain) and does not accommodate all the features naturally. I was skeptical about fountain initially, but with all the ...

Re: Fountain (compile) adds newlines to everyline

I have spent a lot of time playing around with the compiling formatting for fountain, this is a summary of what I have found. Disclaimer: I am writing in the fountain format in Scrivener. Why not use the screenplay format? Because it takes more time to format it in screenplay. I wanted the outline a...

Re: Fountain (compile) adds newlines to everyline

Thank you AmberV, that must be it! Yes, I was writing in the fountain format already. But I cannot compile into a .fountain file? It must be a .txt file? I followed your screenshot and it is printing the synopses and titles. However, I have 2 questions: (1) Some of them don't have synopsis, how do I...

Fountain (compile) adds newlines to everyline

I am trying to export as fountain format, and it works well (the synopsis with the "=", the "#" sign for headings etc) except that it adds newlines to every line. Can anyone help? Is it some setting I must select/deselect? I tried checking "as-is" but it is still adding...

Re: Connect with arrow

Good tip!

I wouldn't know if it weren't shared.

I tried to add a new note "below" my current note, but the shortcut Shift+Command+down don't work. Am I doing it wrong?

Thanks Keith!

I just started trying Scapple out (yesterday), and it's great!

I'll be the first in line to buy Scapple

Feature Request: Paste Image

I know Scrivener allows this because it's part of my workflow to copy and paste images from the web.

Can we have this feature in Scapple too?

Thanks Keith!
