OS 10.13.6
Scrivener latest version

The Style Panel on High Sierra is not usable. Is it possible to fix that?

Re: Color of insertion point in Composition mode

I found a workaround. The Main editor window has to share the same text color as the theme for composition mode. Then the insertion point stays the same, as you don't have to override the text color. A little strange. I don't understand it, but it works. I would prefer to be able to have themes whic...

Re: Auto-complete

I wanted to try suggest auto-completions as you type from the preferences. In BBEdit which is my text editor I can tweak the setting to make the drop down appear a little later than the default. In Scrivener, the default delay is a little too quick. I wanted to delay it a tad. Thanks for the great w...

Re: Color of insertion point in Composition mode

I have a theme I made for composition mode. The text color is a part of the theme. And you are right, the color is setup to override the text color. It is possible to have a different theme for composition than the default editor view. Why is the insertion point color dependent on the text color? On...

Color of insertion point in Composition mode

Is it possible to change the color of the insertion point in Composition mode?

I know how to change it in the Editor mode, but it doesn't carry forward to the Editor in Composition mode.

Auto-complete

Is it possible to change the delay for the auto-complete drop down menu? I want it to be longer than the default.

Re: Lion Versions

I have not looked at the Snapshots feature in Scrivener. Based on the comments here it seems I need to look into that. The advantage of Forever Save to me is that it performs backups on multiple programs. I have it backing up BBEDit, Ulysses, Scrivener, Byword and iA Writer files. But I need to look...

Re: Lion Versions

I understand that Scrivener is not designed to support Versions, and I am not willing to give up the ability to add umpteen files to the research folder. :) I use a product called Forever Save <http://tool-forcesw.com/foreversave/> which helps me maintain different versions of the same Scrivener doc...

Thank you. This will make Index Card and Scrivener 2.0 even more useful.

Re: iPad as a writing/research tool

Would love to check out what you have done with it. Looking for something which gives me the flexibility of Scrivener on the iPad. So far, slim pickings. macosxguru Update: Bought it. I love it. I was using Corkulous for the same functionality but this is more streamlined and optimized for text. Wil...

Re: What else is on your Mac?

Out of curiosity, how do you like Tinderbox and do you use it regularly? I have mixed feelings about Tinderbox. There are times when I love it, and there are times when I have to look at the program and scratch my head in frustration. It is very powerful. It is unique. It does things which you neve...
