Discovered this yesterday. Cross platform and pretty low foot print. Everything is plain text but displayed in line as Rich Text (through Markdown). You can get a free license if you request one for now. Worth checking out.

Re: Folding Text

I purchased on day one as well. It's a great piece of software that I have yet to figure out how I'll use but supporting Hog Bay Software is reason enough really. I've gotten a lot of use out of TaskPaper and WriteRoom over the years.

Re: Scapple - New Beta Available

Been away for awhile and just check in to the forums every once in awhile. I just wanted to post that Scapple is such a fantastic idea. Really liking the freeform outlining and brainstorming capabilities it provides.

Re: Syncing with Index Card iOS

Pretty sure you just need to select what you want to sync in the Binder and create a new collection. Then, use that collection for syncing to Index Card from Scrivener. For syncing initially from the other direction (IC to Scrivener) I think you would need to import a Index Card project that has bee...

Re: Daedalus for ipad

I haven't noticed any syncing issues or weird issues with titles. I just synced everything over from Scrivener and then pointed a stack at it in Daedalus. I've synced both ways with edits and no issues so far. Maybe they fixed the issues?

Re: Daedalus for ipad

I just wanted to post that, despite the previous posts for one of the older versions, Daedalus has really grown. I've been using it to work on a project that I have synced with an external folder in Scrivener and so far, so good. being able to sync on a Stack by Stack basis is a killer feature for me.

Re: MMD Headers

Works like a charm. It must have been an issue with me placing the code outside of the "latex-title" section.

I'm pretty much set now (with this detail anyway... I feel like I just went down a rabbit hole with this).

Anyway, I really appreciate the assistance, Amber.

Thank you!

Re: MMD Headers

Amber. I had this working perfectly (except for the Metadata issue) and then lost the file I was editing and no I can't get it to work. This is the xslt I'm using to generate the header and footer. This is the complete file. For some reason, it is now being ignored totally and a title page is being ...

Re: MMD Headers

Ok, If I convert to LaTex I do see that my title and author metadata are being included. For some reason the TexMate command to convert to PDF (from the MMD bundle) is not pulling in this information using my custom xslt (basically article with the bit of code you provided above).

Re: MMD Headers

Amber,

There is no reason that I am declaring those again. I guess I am having trouble understanding how to declare the MMD variables in the preamble.

Re: MMD Headers

Man, Amber that is a great help!! So, I am using this and it is formatted the way I want: \def\myauthor{Author} \def\mytitle{Title} \def\mychapterstyle{default} \def\mypagestyle{simple} \makepagestyle{simple} \makeevenhead{simple}{\rightmark}{}{\leftmark} \makeoddhead{simple}{\rightmark}{}{\leftmark...

MMD Headers

The following applies to TextMate but may be applicable to Scrivener. Fletcher has offered assistance but I thought I would pose my questions here because others may benefit from any solutions. Ok, I'm trying to customize the headers for the article.xslt. I basically need: Name Course Date As my hea...

Re: Postbox / other e-mail programs

Postbox is the best of the breed in terms of the current IMAP clients on OSX. You may also want to have a look at: MailForge: http://www.infinitydatasystems.com/mailforge/index.html - I think PostBox is better GyazMail: http://gyazsquare.com/gyazmail/ This one is probably equal to PostBox IMO featur...
