Autocomplete on iOS

I have some entries for Autocomplete from Mac Scrivener. I can see them listed in the iOS app settings. How do I use them on iOS? I am not using a physical keyboard- just the software keyboard. Is it possible to use autocomplete with this or do I need to get a physical keyboard?
Thanks for any help.

Re: UK pricing?

It's about what I thought - a quid cheaper - and well worth it. Thanks for the info.

UK pricing?

Haven't seen this yet. I guess it will be £15.99 or so as it is just under 20 US dollars. Is that accurate? Can't be a state secret or have I missed it somewhere?

Re: WYSIWYG Formatting Presets

Ah, wow didn't know that about the plists. Illustrator actually asks you to save your set with a name but I don't think it makes them available to the user as a simple text file. BB Edit has started looking for settings in Dropbox. They suggest Library/ Application Support/ BB Edit be made as folder...

Re: WYSIWYG Formatting Presets

Good point, I overlooked that but it would be nice to have it in Scrivener. On a larger but later theme, it would be good to have customisable short cuts that you could save as a text file (like Illustrator) and load in to other macs with app on them (not like Illustrator). But that's a whole other ...

Re: WYSIWYG Formatting Presets

Could we have keyboard shortcuts for presets too please? In Pages you can assign them as 'hot keys' and choose between the 'F' keys. (The drawback is that if you make a template it doesn't remember these hot keys). For Scrivener it would be useful to be able to assign a keyboard short cut to a headi...

Re: Scrivener for iOS - What Would You Want? [PLEASE READ FIRST]

I would like an iPad version but I can imagine an iPhone version too for some people. You could have the binder as a pop over, like mail was on the iPad in portrait mode. I would like to have the binder and to have the iOS and Mac OS X versions able to share the same .scriv on Dropbox. Syncing to an...

Re: Scrivener for iPad?

If its possible to have an iPad Scrivener, here are the things I would ideally like it to feature (I'd settle for less to begin with though...) - All files and folders respected in the binder  - Sync with external files ( individual text files) via Dropbox or  - Use Scriv file in Dropbox and then us...

Re: Text Replacement

No worries and thanks for the prompt reply - it's all down to Apple thinking and focussing on people just owning one mac and not working on multiple machines - maybe that is unusual and its not too difficult to do it through BBEdit.

Thanks again for your reply

Re: Text Replacement

This is excellent news (1.54 with this feature) I had been waiting for Snow Leopard chiefly for this (and a faster Finder etc) but was over my first burst of enthusiasm and gratification when I found that you can't load in loads of pairs from a text file - unless you do this (http://db.tidbits.com/a...

Re: New geezer question

Thanks for this - very prompt and clears up both of my questions. So I just order everything in the runtime order and when I compile it makes one doc.
thanks again

New geezer question

Hi, I'm trying your programme with a view to buying it and it seems really good but there is something that I can't fathom - must be making it too complex. I thought that I could have a main text page in the draft folder and then make links to other pages (Control, click, Scrivener Link) in sub fold...
