Re: Drawing in Scrivener

Hello Lunk, thank you for the tip, I Will give it a try...
Yet it's difficult not to Wish to associate Scrivener's huge qualities in text and this kind of versatility.

Drawing in Scrivener

I use Scrivener a lot, but there is one feature I miss terribly : drawing and writing in the same application, in a continuous process. And Scapple is not what I am thinking of. Of course I can import images, but this is so very different. Why is it so important ? Because typically, being a cartooni...

Re: Quick reference - add a shortcut?

Press the spacebar to open the selected corkboard item in a QuickReference window. If that isn't working for you, open Scrivener > Preferences and click Navigation, then find the "Corkboard and Outliner Space Key Behavior" and set this to "QuickReference Panel". That was easy! T...

Re: Quick reference - add a shortcut?

I read this thread with interest but I'm not sure I understand everything. Anyhow I do desperately need myself a shortcut to open a document as a quick reference when I am in corkbaord view. I don't like at all to have to press the icon in the menu bar or to drag the card to the icon, I definitely n...

Re: Scapple Beta - New Users Please Read

Here is a thread on Apple's forum that may be of help: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/43 ... 0&tstart=0 Short version: it looks like most people had success by repairing permissions and then rebooting the computer. It appears both steps are necessary. Thank you ! It did work... (though on...

Re: Scapple Beta - New Users Please Read

robin2022 : Could you open up the Console application in your Applications/Utility folder and try extracting the .zip file again, then copy and paste any relevant system messages? One other thing to try: you mentioned that .zip has always worked before, but have you tried another .zip file recently...

cannot open scapple zip file

This may have nothing to do with Scapple, but this is the first time I cannot open a zip file the usual way. I had to force the built in utility out and resort to the unarchiver to open the file at last, and to tell the truth ( yes, I'm paranoid) I'm slightly worried about this. And I haven't starte...

Re: Reference could not be opened

Thank you for your answer. Some addresses do work, some don't. This one for instance doesn't open from Scrivener (tried several times, creating new references), although it works fine in safari : http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Cohen_(économiste) The address appears broken in my previous answer...

Reference could not be opened

This is a document references> external reference issue. I pasted an address (an internet address) in the url field that should be perfectly valid ( I tried several addresses of course). When I double click to open the link (to the browser), I get repeatedly this error message : "Reference coul...

language correctors

I don't really need a french version of Scrivener although I write in french mostly, but as I make lots of mistakes when typing and since the system dictionnary often cannot provide the right proposition, for this reason among others I am presently looking into a corrector and dictionnary called &qu...

shortcut from binder to to editor

Sounds silly, I have been searching in help and forums but probably not properly. Here is my problem. I just created a new item in the binder. Now I want to start editing this new item in the editor without using the mouse - using the keyboard only. I tried cmd-alt-O. It makes an "errror sound&...

Re: Download dies at 69.3KB

jeremydouglass wrote:Like robin2022, my download of the .scrtpl file is timing out at 69.3KB.

Corrupted file, or just bad data in some phpbb cache?

I found out the file is still OK in spite of this "69,3" enveloppe. It works.
