folders in outline no longer show documents

I did something wrong and I can't figure out what it is. Working on a screenplay, I fumbled a key combination and now my folders, in the outline window, no longer show their Scrivenings. Oops. Writing the question, I figured out the answer. Scrivenings was unchecked in the view menu. Command 1 fixed...

Re: Scrivener in French ?

One big problem is the fact that I'm always refining and updating the interface - the thought of trying to get every minor tweak I make changed in all languages - and keeping on top of that - is not one I relish. :) Keith, My guess is the waves of positive energy you'll get from users will make up ...

Re: Scrivener for Mac 2.1 Now Available

As always Keith, outstanding work. Scrivener in full screen on my 27" iMac looks outstanding. Thank you for your diligence and attention to detail.

Like many here, I practically live in Scrivener. It's a fine place to call home.

Re: Slow Contextual Menu

Goodie goodie! I was worried my system was buggered and would need a complete reformat. Keith, I know you've made a great deal of progress on the next version and have an incredible amount of your in front of you, but do you have a clearer idea (as of today perhaps?) when the next version will be re...

i rarely, if ever, click the scroll bar

the next version sure does look sweet! i'd like, if i may, offer one suggestion on the interface (if it's not too hard to implement). might be worth considering using small scroll bars for all of the windows as they do take up real-estate, or better yet, have an option to switch them off as you alre...

Re: Slow Contextual Menu

Hello Keith, No, the slow contextual menus happen every time and only with Scrivener. Amber, I tried restarting with the shift key down, but still the same results. I do not have extraneous system enhancers on my computer - simply don't trust them. I tried to defrag my hard drive last night and got ...

Re: Slow Contextual Menu

Hello Keith, It happens in the main text editor window and I do not get the same slow response in Text Edit. After highlighting a word and calling up the contextual menu [control + click] to bring up the dictionary (either on a misspelled word or to call up the thesaurus). Let me know if there are o...

Slow Contextual Menu

Hello,

I've seen a slow down in contextual menu response time since updating to 10.5.5. Other applications do not seem to be affected. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks!

scroll bar control

Hello Keith, Hope the writing's been good to you. Just a quick suggestion and I admit it's a little anal, but still thought it might be a good idea if it's not too hard to implement. In preferences, I think it would be great to toggle scroll bars on and off while maintaining the ability to scroll pa...

adding "Item Number" to the Outliner Collumns view

would be sweet to have item number in the outliner collumn, preferably with the simple # sign so it doesn't take up too much space. helps keep track of scene numbers which can change when reordering and avoids redundant editing of scene headers - for those anal writers who like to number everything ...

for the time being, simply trashing the plist file solves the problem of the icons losing their color. keith, do you think it would be possible to post 1.02 BEFORE you complete the Leopard version? Seems to me there might be enough bug fixes to justify releasing before OS X 10.5 gets here (whenever ...

icon colors

i've noticed the same when using outliner. odd thing is, this only happens on my powerbook G4 (w/ATI 9700 Mobility Radeon) and not my powermac G5 (w/ATI 9650 Radeon) ~ theoretically the same GPU...

Oops!

Sorry 'bout that. I learned about the general nature of the OS X bug after posting. I'll make sure to research properly before posting stuff.

Thanks.
