Thinking of getting a psion revo. It's small, it got real keys, smaller than ordinary keyboard keys but they aren't small and rubbery at least...

Depends. I love having my own server at home, it's an old p3 running linux with afp shares, apache webserver, subversion and some other little things on there. I have also configured my router so I can get to my afp-shares from the internet, so when my macbook is in the move and I find a nice wifi s...

Actually, this one seems to be back on the road. At least for me. I open a document, tried a few projects now and it happens in every one of them, select the draft folder or a folder for one chapter, then view>project statistics and click on include sub-documents. I use Leopard, and Scrivener 1.1.

irc-channel for writers?

Are there any irc-channels for writers? I've been doing some quick google searches but haven't found any. Lit and Lat forum in all it's glory, irc has a place in my geek-heart... :D

Yeah, I understand that. The main thought was to get some sort of average counter for each chapter, and as you finished chapter 1 at, say 6000 words, you could set it as finished and it would use the average target but the actual wordcount instead. But the more I think of it the more I think you're ...

I was away to visit my mom and dad when nano started, so today when I'm back home I just got 600 words, pretty discouraging but I think I will take aim at 2000 a day to get back up on the horse. But then again, I might just continue with a hundred a day... :?

project statistics, project target and document target.

This is something that has annoyed me since the first of november. I have a outline made in Omni Outliner, ten chapters, each chapter has three or four subsection. In project statistics I write 50 000 (yeah, it's a nanonovel) but under document target nothing shows up until you fill it in. Wouldn't ...

Re: leopard

You lucky tykes! Read my profile line below. I miss out by one lousy release (G4 733). DANG! I'll just have to get the new nano mini when it is released on Black Friday (November the 23rd). Yes, a smart idea not be an early adopter on this release. Good thinking. Cheers :) Actually you should be ab...

I've seen some guides on the net showing how to install on an iBook G3, but I can't seem to find them now. If I remember correct there is some patch that can be applied to an installation that removes leopard's cpu-check.

Leopard, now, later or never?

So, how many of you out there are going to run to the closest apple store and buy leopard on friday? I'm thinking about it but haven't decided yet. Maybe I'll wait for a week or two.

One thing I've wondered about, sometimes when trying out old shareware it doesn't say if it's universal or not, is there a way to know if a process runs under rosetta or not?
