Create ToC manually for ebook doesn't work

Hello, Using Scrivener 3.1.5 (Mac), I am trying to compile an ebook. The auto generated ToC appears to completely miss two sections from the Front Matter (Author's Note and Maps). So I presumably have no choice but to create a ToC manually. This is what I did step by step. 1. Created a new text file...

ePUB conversion errors

Hello, I am trying to compile my novel into ePUB format (Mac 3.1.2). When I try to view the file with Kindle Previewer 3, I get a conversion error message with a log of errors which make no sense to me. My novel has images on 6 pages but otherwise it's a fairly standard text format for novels with f...

Re: Copyright page uses abnormal font size

Yes, Copyright is part of Front Matter which I guess is standard format for Scrivener paperback compiling. Changing it to Scene does not change the font to the same as the Chapters (which are all Scene) and the page creeps up onto the title page. I can't understand why this would be set as a standar...

Re: Copyright page uses abnormal font size

The problem seems to have returned and I can't figure out how to amend it without ruining other parts of the document. All I want is for the Copyright page to have the same font size as the rest of the document as you would expect for novels. Where in Scrivener do I specifically go to amend the font...

Best.

Thank you! This is exactly what was happening. Fixed it now with the indent reset.

Re: How to centre selected paragraphs without affecting others

Update.
Problem isn't solved but I've gotten around it by writing and formatting in Microsoft Word before copying and pasting the whole chapter into a new Scene in Scrivener.

How to centre selected paragraphs without affecting others

I'm sure this is a simple fix but I'm struggling to find it. In one of the Scene chapters, I have a series of paragraphs that I want to centre (as they are verses of a song). But when I select these 4 paragraphs and click on centre paragraph, it applies that centring format to the entire chapter. I ...

Re: <$BLANK_PAGE> text being inserted instead of desired blank page

Thanks Jennifer. I inserted a page break after the placeholder and it worked.
I guess the page break somehow got deleted though I never touched that front matter page.

<$BLANK_PAGE> text being inserted instead of desired blank page

Using Mac Scrivener, when I try to compile in paperback format, I use the front matter pages: Title Page Copyright Dedication Blank Page The blank page has the text <$BLANK_PAGE> which I think is code to tell Scrivener to insert a blank page as in the past, it has inserted a blank page here which is...

Image cropped during Paperback Compiling

Hello, I have 6 images imported into my Scrivener folder. They all look fine in Scrivener. When I try to compile in Paperback format, the first image appears cropped in the pdf. Its right border is missing. The other 5 images have no issue. I have tried to edit the image by reducing its width. This ...
