Re: Adding web pages to research takes forever

I also experienced this in RC 11, and the same slowness is exhibited in RC12.

My environment: W10 2004, all security patches,
Browser is Edge Chromium Version 87.0.664.47 (Official build) (64-bit)

S3 RC12 Bug: Session Word Count Progress Bar Disappeared, Project Word Count Disappeared

Hi, in RC11, the overall project word count was displayed at the top of the editor window, and the top bar measured the project against the project target. The bottom project bar measured progress against Session Targets. In RC12, the word count of the project seems to have disappeared, as has the s...

Possible bug RC10 HiDPI -Search and Replace Dialogue Box Text Entry Font is Tiny

Hi, Is there a setting to adjust the fonts in the dialogue boxes? I am running W10 Pro, 2004 fully patched to the latest revision, on a 4k display. Scrivener is 2.9.9.10 HiDPI RC10. When doing a search and replace, the font in the find / replace box seems tiny, and I don't seem to be able to find th...

Re: Feedback: S3 2.9.9.9 - Wndows Word Frequency Counts Options.

Thanks, @DEVINGANGER - I tried; how do you do that? The table, at least in 2.9.9.9 does not seem to copy out of the UI. Other tables also seem to be exportable (e.g. the writing table for word counts), but not this table.

Re: Feedback Wanted: How do you structure your Scriv projects?

Kind of depends for what. For my "non-writing" life, I use Scrivener to structure both my resume and linkedin Profile. Each document represents a portion of the larger document (or profile page, in the LinkedIN, case.). While this would not be much harder to do in Word (and I have, previou...

Re: Ability to save a custom Spelling dictionary for portativity between installations

Oh, sorry. I did not think that new features (which this would be) were really considered for the beta as that was more of a bug hunt.

Feedback: S3 2.9.9.9 - Wndows Word Frequency Counts Options.

I like the word frequency option - but I think that to make it more useful, there should be an option for the user to exclude words the counts of which the user does not care about. This could be a column with a checkbox to exclude the word and a refresh the list button (along with a button to view ...

Re: [LH4361] Printing problem

This has not been fixed in 2.9.9.9, unfortunately. Printing directly (Print current document function) to a local (network connected) laserjet printer will not produce a printed document. As @Jestar and @MFS600 report, to produce a printed document, one must print the current document to pdf first, ...

Re: Has Windows Version 3 Been Scrapped?

Scrivener is a good tool, and the 2.9.x beta is quite good at this point. It seems to be progressing towards release.

Ability to save a custom Spelling dictionary for portativity between installations

Use case: For a user that uses more than one computer, or for transition between versions / reinstallation of Scrivener, it would be very useful if Scrivener 3.x allowed the user to export and import the custom words list it uses for the new hunspell module from the UI. The prior version and older s...

Re: Windows 2.9.9.9 HiDPI - Spelling Check Squiggly Hard to See

Thanks, @AusieDoc. I agree, it can be worked around - I don't believe that this is a show stopper. The other work-around is to manually run the spell checker at the end of the writing session and correct what it finds or add new phrases to the dictionary. The default view is also more visible. My po...

Windows 2.9.9.9 HiDPI - Spelling Check Squiggly Hard to See

HI, using the HiDPI edition of Scrivener 2.9.9.9, the underline of a spelling error is exceptionally hard to see when in dark mode theme. In the default theme, it is better - but still not really visible enough to spot right away.
