Re: How to Make a Tab Default?

Make sure you've actually selected some text, so that Scrivener will know what "Use Current" refers to.

Re: Corrupt project file

What version of Scrivener do you have, and with which version of Mac OS?

Have you tried resetting the project display settings, as explained here:

Re: embedding scapple file in scrivener

Did you recently update Mac OS?

Scrivener uses the Mac OS Quick Look preview functions to display files that it can't open, so your symptoms suggest a glitch in that subsystem.

Re: Page View + Shadow - significant lag

What hardware do you have? We've seen a few reports where newer hardware actually has *more* performance issues, which we attribute to a problem with the graphics accelerator chips in newer Macs.

Re: "Privacy concerns with macOS Big Sur"

Scrivener has a valid Apple developer certificate and should pass any malware checks that Big Sur chooses to run. However, all of the behavior described in the link is taking place at the Mac OS level, and is therefore completely outside Scrivener's control. That is, while Scrivener is not tracking ...

Re: Corrupt project file

The short answer is yes, there are a number of ways to recover a damaged project file. The easiest is to use the File -> Import -> Scrivener Project command to import it into a new, empty project. What specific behavior is causing you to believe the project is corrupt, though? Depending on what's ha...

It sounds like you're probably in Script mode. You can turn it off at Format -> Scriptwriting -> Script Mode.

Re: Accessing files after upgrading IOS

You can locate all projects on the Mac by using Finder to search for .scriv files. Assuming you were using Dropbox to synchronize the two, make sure that the Dropbox application is running on the Mac, and double-check the Dropbox settings on the iOS device. Information about configuring Dropbox can ...

Also make sure that the current application/window isn't set to "float." Floating windows are always on top, even when other applications are active.

Re: Scrivener ne s'ouvre pas

Hmm.

What specifically happens when you try to open Scrivener 2.8.1? The only change between Scrivener 2.8.1 and Scrivener 2.9 involves licensing. As an Apple Store customer, 2.8.1 should be fine.

Re: Accessing files after upgrading IOS

It's unclear from your post. Did you upgrade your Mac, your iOS device, or both? And are you trying to see your projects on the Mac, or on the iOS device?

Re: Fixing the Tab Key

From your post, it's unclear what you're trying to accomplish. Do you want a series of columns, so that Text1, Text2, and Text3 are all on one line? Do you want Text1, Text2, and Text3 on separate lines, but aligned with each other at some point other than the left margin? Something else? The View -...

Re: Changing Default "No Style" in Scrivener 3.2.1

The project based option worked, not the Scrivener wide, but that's what I wanted. The project based formatting is changed in a different way, not through Scrivener options, but through Project > Project Settings. Either way, it fine now. Just to be clear, the project-level default (if there is one...

If you're using Big Sur, you've encountered a known issue. Upgrade to Scrivener 3.2.1.
