Re: Keyboards

[quote="BruceInLouisville"]FWIW -- I have a Belkin bluetooth folio and keyboard, and love it. The keyboard is big enough to touch-type, the case provides a good level of protection, and it has a few shortcut keys that are useful. It is charged via USB cable, and the charge seems to last. [...

Re: 2.0 External Folder Sync

Hi Keith, No problem at all! I guessed you might be busy, now you've loosed Scrivener 2.0 to the world (and the forums back this up)! I haven't used sync at all yet from something serious (and need to work out how I will use it as I usually use the bold and italics options in the text when I'm worki...

Re: 2.0 External Folder Sync

I've sent Keith the error reports from the console, but this is how the problem resolved itself. I deleted the files in my draft sequentially into the internal Scrivener trash. After each, I attempted to synchronise again. Each hung again, until the second file had been deleted. The sync then worked...

Re: 2.0 External Folder Sync

Hi Keith,

There are a whole bunch of errors reported (some of which may relate to legacy stuff as this MacBook is updated from my old PowerBook 12"). I'll send you the details. Will start to play around with the files tomorrow for you.

Thanks,

Dom

2.0 External Folder Sync

So I'm not doing NaNoWriMo, but I couldn't resist downloading the preview to try before the final official release next week... So I pulled up a project that I've been working on for far too long, and set up an external folder sync into my DropBox / Plaintext / ProjectName folder with TXT files for ...

Re: Scrivener 1.52 now available

Just to confirm that I've seen the same full screen preferences issue here (I'd a white on blue set up and now it's black on blue).

I'm using Scrivener to write material for RPGs and wargames. I guess you could argue that's fiction with a twist of academic text book style writing when rules get involved.

Importing Non-Supported files into the Binder

I mentioned this in the feedback section, but I decided that it should properly be in this section. I am using Scrivener (in the main) to prepare supplements and other books for old style paper role-playing games and wargames. When doing this, I use a number of file types (eg OmniGraffle) which aren...

And now Merlin has posted his review of Scrivener 1.0 on 43 Folders. That review was the cause of me finding out about Scrivener and ultimately deciding to register it. I've played around with a few writing tools and application combinations (Copywrite, OmniOutliner with Word docs embedded and Circ...
