I've not had the message for three consecutive days now, so either I'm just lucky or the licence server is working better. Fingers crossed the problem won't come back! I installed 1.9.15.0 when it was released and it did work for me for a while. However, after about a week the message started popping up again.

@Scrivener Support: Is there any news on this issue? I opened a support ticket, but haven't heard back, so I thought I'd ask here. The message still pops up regularly and though I can close it and use Scrivener, I worry that one day my luck will run out and I'll be locked out. Is there a working fix...

I just don't believe it. After three days of working as normal, the activation notice is popping up again. The log looked good (see my message posted earlier), but it seems we're back to square one again.

What now?

I can understand that you would not want to implement a lock option for the binder only, but have you ever considered giving the option of switching off drag and drop completely? This is really annoying, I thought the new version had fixed this bug. I too am getting the 'License Engine broken connection' error message again.
