Re: Would so LOVE to see Scrivener 3 for Windows during the Coronavirus Shutdown

Good afternoon. Please let us know whether the beta version of Scrivener 3 will work after 15.07.2020 or will there be a new release?. There is no backward compatibility and my work may be lost :( Hi there. A new release will be released. They've been doing so for quite some time without fail, and ...

Re: Converting Win 1.9 to Win Beta Mess

What a fiasco this product is. I asked earlier if content is safe using the beta. I was told it was. It is not. I converted a 1.9 file to the 3.0 beta. This was a complete first draft of a novel. Three scenes vanished. I did a global search. The content gone. Two dozen scenes jumbled. Some placed i...

Re: Grateful for the good news

Sometimes projects take longer than expected. Complaining isn't going to help. It's not like they're slacking off. They're constantly working on fixing bugs. There are still lots of little bugs, so it might be a while until it's released. That's fine. It's better than rushing something out. In the ...

Re: Any idea when V3 Spanish menu's going to be completely translated?

Hello! :) Why not mail L&L instead of asking in a user forum? I guess being the feedback forum of the official webpage would have some repercussion.... The thing it's I recommended the program to a couple of non English speakers and they feel I'm responsible for them when they try to change set...

Re: Would so LOVE to see Scrivener 3 for Windows during the Coronavirus Shutdown

And Release Candidate number 5!!!!! I'm very much afraid that Windows Version 3 development it's going to extend well into 2021 at this rate. It will, and likely into 2022! Even after release, complex software such as Scrivener will continue to be ‘developed’ and enhanced. Mac V3 has been under con...

Re: Grateful for the good news

Well RC 3 and the next update will be 10 days instead of the usual 7. It seems the final version will take some time yet. I do not expect a 2020 release yet. Trying to divine the release date by looking at the number of beta releases and expiration dates is like trying to divine the future by readi...

Re: Moving from Mac to PC

I have decided that my next computer will be a convertible 2 in 1 touchscreen PC. form my 9 year old Mac. I have used Scrivener for the past few years and am very happy with it. Though my computer is just to old to do what I want. I was about to ask how Scrivener for Windows 3 is coming along but i...

I don't speak any German, but can anybody confirm that Patchwork costs 130+euros?

That's a lot of bones. On the hand they have already released their V3 for both MAC and WINDOWS....
