Re: unable to verify your activation for more then two months

Yes they could have been more communicative at times but What do you expect? There are multiple posts on the multitude of threads people have started stating they are working on it and will update. You want them to fill the thread with endless hourly posts, ‘working on it still’? Well, as I stated ...

Re: unable to verify your activation for more then two months

I though that after Keith (the owner of LL) posted this in the latest blog post: " I’d also like to apologise for the lack of communication - we should absolutely have posted this several days ago (...)." I thought that they would become better in communicating things, But that doesn't see...

Re: unable to verify your activation for more then two months

It would be helpful if you would merge the half dozen or so threads on this topic, since official responses from L&L team members are scattered throughout the threads. I'm kind of tired of having to read all of them to find out if there's any new information on this problem. I agree. I just don...

Re: unable to verify your activation for more then two months

Literature and Latte, what I don't quite understand: Why didn't you send us Windows users a simple email with the info that you've discovered that something is wrong with the licensing system? "Here is the error that a lot of users are getting, if you haven't got it yet, you should expect it at...

Tiho:

No, I just get a delay of about 9 seconds. (Blank window; sometimes there's "Not Responding" in the window title.)

Re: License manager ended unexpectedly

I'm using Windows 8.1, but I didn't have the "License manager ended unexpectedly" problem so far, it only takes much longer to start the program. But I also don't use Scrivener every day, so it might not have triggered the 2 month period yet?

I completely agree. I hope they can fix it as soon as possible.

Re: My Windows latest version has started opening very slowly

I also have the same problem. Scrivener 1.9.13.0. Windows 8.1.

Scrivener's windows is blank for about 8 seconds. I don't think it took so long to open a few months ago.

Re: Commitment & responsibility...

Thank you for your post, KB.

Is that true: Is there one sole Mac developer - KB - and are there two Windows developers - Lee and Tiho?

Scrivener 1.9 and 3

Can I use the released version 3 and the old version 1.9 at the same time on Windows? Not with the same projects, but if I don't open older projects with version 3 and don't convert them, can I still use version 1.9 with them? And if I buy version 3 with the discount because I already have version 1...

I agree.

Maybe it would not be a lot of work to make an additional black and white version of the icons in version 3 so that they have more contrast?

Re: [Suggestion] [2.9.10] UI Improvements

I don't quite understand why you didn't use vector graphics. Or at least had the icons drawn at a bigger size, so you could make them smaller more easily. In any case, it seems that Scrivener 3 will be the program with the smallest icons on my computer. I checked a few of the programs I use most, an...
