Re: Move Text Left does not work, and a query on the new shortcut schemes

Thank you for your explanation. My mistakes were many. I suspect Steam may have stolen the shortcuts, or that I had the Windows key disabled via a button on my keyboard. Heh. For another, I didn't realize that the Windows start menu doesn't pop up until one releases the Windows key - but if you pres...

Move Text Left does not work, and a query on the new shortcut schemes

2.9.9.11 Beta (1078406) 64 Bit, Windows 10. I'm delighted to notice that the increase/decrease indent short keys at last work exactly as intended, or so it seems thus far. Specifically, [Increase Indents] and [Decrease Indents]. As [Move Text Right] does the same thing as [Increase Indents], one exp...

Re: "Link to Document" greyed out

"Still"? Holy moley, I had no idea you could do that to begin with. Or I had forgotten. Either way, that's awesome! Way faster than navigating my nested tree of folders to drag a file across. ...wait, if they're doing things that make intuitive sense like that, then... OH MY GOD. I can dra...

Re: What Happened in Release Candidate 7 GUI

I think it's hilariously awesome that this exists. I hadn't stumbled across it. Now I totally have to try it out.

Re: "Link to Document" greyed out

I can confirm this issue is present on my install as well, so rest assured it's nothing you did. Windows 10, v1909 OS Build 18363.836 Version: 2.9.9.7 Beta (955095) 64-bit - 13 Jun 2020 This is one of my many most favourite features on Scrivener, so I'm sad to see it sneak away on me! I don't know h...

Thank you, that's all nice and helpful input. I'll go have a further peek at those models.

Best laptop etc for typing experience with Scrivener (for Windows)

Hullo. I have a beautiful powerful Windows PC that runs Scrivener and everything else like a dream. Managing homeschooling kids etc however means no sitting at my workstation. Woot first world problems. Thus I'm looking for suggestions re a mobile experience that allows still using Scrivener and get...

I know this wasn't listed as fixed, but I'm just including an example image of the current state.

Just confirming that this remains an issue with RC3. I'm happy to make a video of the bug if helps clarify things.

Re: [LH4466] List items indenting inconsistently from Beta to RC2. Video included.

Progress update. I'm not sure how many of these bugs relate to LH4050 and LH4233 so I mention them just in case. #1: Can't copy-paste text into an existing list item without creating a new list item. This bug has been fixed it seems. Hooray! Hopefully. #5: Changing the list icon type on any sub-item...

[LH4466] List items indenting inconsistently from Beta to RC2. Video included.

Nested list items continue to grow increasingly bonkers. I fear for the sanity of the programmers you may assign to this terror. Please consider that your programmers may require additional love, or the reassurance that they will still be loved once these terrors are resolved. Somebody will have to ...

I wasn't sure whether it was a new bug or not and deserved its own tracking. Looks like it's not gone and deserves a new post perhaps. I'll make a video and put it up.

Good to know it's not just me. Open up a document after saving and you'll have the same problem adding to perfectly fine lists from before. Really frustrating.

Maybe we need to make this a separate post because I'm not sure it's a bug being tracked?
