If that's the case, man is that just another example of the inconsistency of Windows across different installations. I've literally seen different system behaviors between the same model of computer under the same admin regime, with supposedly the same software patches installed. It's like Windows ...
Apps and Features won't do it. You need to go to Programs and Features. Believe it or not, that's a different deal than the other one, and you can right-click and get rid of stuff that the Apps and Features option won't do anything with. Why? Ask Microsoft. No 'effing idea why there's a diff...
I've used Uninstaller included with Scrivener. It removed most of the Scrivener versions, but there are still some left. I've tried removing it through "Apps & Features", as well as through the "Control Panel". But the following Scrivener version stay stuck, and don't give me...
I usually use three Macs and one iPad. All Macs have the Dropbox app installed It is great that it works for you on all three Macs + an iPad. If you use Dropbox...? Any suggestions on what else I can use? Scrivener supports only Dropbox. I did loads of tests, and Katherine confirmed that too. Why n...
But of recently, I can't use Dropbox on iMac, so the alternative was to get the project of this iMac onto machine which support Dropbox, then sync it from there onto iOS. I was thinking maybe there was a more efficient way, without need of me moving the project around. Or at least maybe sync it to ...
1 project - which by the look of it has 2k~ smaller files, which takes about 30min - 1h to sync (if done purely through iOS Scrivener app). That’s impossible. The syncing procedure only upload/download changed files. Are you moving the project out of and into the Dropbox folder every time on the Ma...
Whenever I would open .scriv in Scrivener app, it would start syncing immediately, after 1h waiting, you then try to open it and the file is corrupt. How many other files and folders do you have in the Dropbox folder you have setup iOS Scrivener to sync with? To many files/projects/other stuff make...
Getting file onto the iPad wasn't an issue in itself. The more important question is how to do it safely without breaking it (or at least move to iPad Scrivener app, as safely as native desktop Dropbox sync does, so at least it would be usable). Whenever I would open .scriv in Scrivener app, it woul...
Does anyone know of any alternatives of uploading to dropbox from Mac, other than the official Dropbox app?
I thought I would be able to send .scriv to my iPhone > Files > and open in Scrivener. It works 50% if I cancel the sync mid-way. If i leave it on, it simply corrupts the project.
I am trying to compile a folder full of smaller files into 1 pdf. Selecting the folder and pressing compile gives me empty file. Selecting the folder and pressing share gives me empty file. Compile Draft, Send a Copy, opening in another app gives me empty file. Any help would be much appreciated.
To complicate things a little more for Tiho, Bullet Point are even more broken when used within TABLES. :D 1. CTRL-ALT-UP (or down) ARROW on empty bullet points within Tables SHUTS DOWN Scrivener. To recreate: Create Basic 2 x3 table, then add an empty bullet point > press CTRL-ALT-UP (or down) ARRO...
