Can you please list the functionalities that are still not present in the windows version?

Re: the ruler, whose scale is wrong in relation to the font size (Scriv Beta 23, Win 7)

It's one of the oldest bugs, noticeable immediately also when writing a screenplay, they already told us is very hard to fix unfortunately.

I'm also a bit disappointed that they never fixed that, but they promised is going to be fixed before release so I guess we just have to be patient.

Synopsis doesn't automatically update while scrolling in Scrivenings mode

I'm not sure if it's intended or not, but it's a very cool feature that Scrivener 1.9 already has. In the current RC2 beta to update the synopsis you have to manually click in every scene, otherwise it continues to show the synopsis attached to the last scene your cursor was in. I hope it's clear wh...

I'm extremely glad the problem has been taken seriously, thank you so much for the update.

Re: Release on Aug 30 confirmed?

For anyone who is afraid about stability and data loss with the Beta. For many versions the Beta is stable against data loss. Just have a look at the forum posts about data loss and you will not find any. Writing with Scrivener is stable against data loss. Mostly the Compiler is the one who needs f...

Re: [LH543/LH846] Scriptwriting Mode

I honestly put all my trust on them, they said that Scrivener will be released when completely fixed. My guess is that they are going to postpone the date to a couple of months from now.

Re: [LH543] Screenplay formatting still broken??

Yes please, i really respect your work and i love Scrivener so much, but this is literally one of the oldest bugs and to still see it in a release candidate it's a bit disheartening for us screenwriters. Of course the software is solid overall, but then again you have the Screenplay format that is s...

Well, the bug has been investigated very late during the previous beta, i guess we'll have to be patient for a bit more :)

Re: Problems with Margins/Ruler in Screenplay template

But this is a bug in beta software, which you SHOULD NOT be using for paying work if it does not meet your needs! I think gimox is referring to the release, the day users may buy and use it for paid works. Anyway, I agree with you, if it won't work or it won't suit our necessities we should stick w...

Re: Problems with Margins/Ruler in Screenplay template

If I've come off brash, my apologies. Being a screenwriter does not place you in the minority, as I'm sure the problem has been mentioned several times before, I'm sure. It's just the priority of where it sits and I'm sure their working on it. You as with several of us writers are the bread and but...

Re: Problems with Margins/Ruler in Screenplay template

Well, i think i haven't explained myself very well: i don't need to know WHEN it's going to be fixed, just wanted to see that at least is considered as something that is going to be fixed. From the official responses we received it seems like this Style problem is not considered a bug, and that's wh...
