A valid discussion and rebuttal of Expensive etc Apple fake claims. You’re not forced to read.

Re: Touch screen scrolling in Scrivener 3?

Hows the Face Biometric unlock, touch screen and tilt sensitive stylus support on that? Bigger stats don't make for current technology, just batter burn, its about fitness and adaptability. I prefer light, solid keyboard and adaptability. Oh and the CLOSED system approach just adds to it. I started...

Re: WIndows 3 Release: My Thoughts

Calling a professional member of the L&L team ‘sweetheart’ is condescending and sexist to begin with and your post descends into your own cesspool from there.

Re: Scrivener iOS syncing via Dropbox continues to crash the app

I wouldn’t expect much different from ZDnet. Seriously though it is an absolute pain in the proverbial, yet let’s be realistic. It can take time to nail down precise cause and the fix and test to ensure the fix doesn’t introduce more issues. The Win development team would be able to confirm that and...

Re: Issue with going from Mac to PC

What versions are you running on the two machines?

If you install dropbox on both machines and can save and open the file in the dropbox folder on the Mac, there is no reason why it wouldn’t be a valid file on the PC.

Set Scrivener to backup to an external drive for safety.

Re: Touch screen scrolling in Scrivener 3?

I would be more than happy to pay Apple for thier OS, but have ZERO interest in buying their obsolete Mac hardware. I also have no problem with LL moving this to the suggestions section as am well aware of where they are on the process to get Windows 3.x out. Hmm.15” i9, 32Gb, vega20, fastest SSD i...

Just as well all my work with MarsEdit is for Wordpress sites. Sounds like Google royally screwed app developers.

I believe you are wrong about Marsedit. Still showing on Mac app store and I use it all the time.

Re: Scrivener iOS syncing via Dropbox continues to crash the app

[ You seem to be saying that the way I'm using Dropbox and Scrivener is wrong, that I should only have current projects in the folder Scrivener for iOS is using. That goes against the whole point of storing your projects in the cloud: to access them any time from anywhere. It's not unusual that I n...

Re: lock binder order to prevent accidental reordering

As someone who has repeatedly accidentally moved things in my binder (on Windows, using a perfectly good mouse), I find the reasons given for not offering the option unpersuasive. Without wanting to be rude, it doesn’t matter how ‘unpersuasive’ you find the reasons. The Mac developer(and owner of L...

You didn’t mention version you’re on but if 1.9, possibly never as they are hard at work trying to get V3 ready for prime time.

Re: Touch screen scrolling in Scrivener 3?

I run MAC OS on a Windows VM and touch works pretty well in many cases there just acting like the touchpad mapped over the screen.. With them also doing iOS and I hear Andriod version, touch will need to be native too all but Mac soon. MacOS on Win VM... on Apple hardware? Otherwise breach of licen...
