Re: [LH3796] : Compile Formatting issue in PDF using Scrivener built in format

I was trying to create a PDF again using the latest version of the Scrivener beta. I'm not sure if it is related but I am using US Letter size paper and the issue is more pronounced when I have 1.5x line spacing. I'm still hopeful that you can figure this one out and fix it.

Name Meaning in Generator

In one of the beta's the name generator was updated (i.e. "improved") but it is now missing the ability to search by name meaning (which I thought was important) and there isn't any option to select all name lists. Not sure if the first is an oversight or if you are just trying to match wh...

Re: Import of Docx drops comments

No, they do not show up as inline annotations although the tracked changes appear to. The comments are just dropped. For me, this makes it impossible to move a scrivener project back and forth between Word and Scrivener as I use comments even for myself. Please add it to a feature wish list.

Import of Docx drops comments

I'm trying to find a way to get information from my editor back and forth into Scrivener easily. They require a Docx file which they load up with editing changes/comments. At this stage, I accept or decline the changes (which by the way follow into Scrivener during import) but all of their comments ...

Bug / Enhancement: Escape won't cancel a Select All

First - love Scrivener and your beta version has been great overall. I've written my entire manuscript using it. Yeah, I know - you say not to use the beta for things you really care about but I love this version so much. :D Anyways, my project is rather large now and I sometimes want to open a scen...

How can I compile to Docx format without including comments

I am using the beta 2.9.0.23. I want to compile my manuscript and open it in Word. Works fine except I don't want to include any of the comments. I have a compile option about where to put them but none to leave them out entirely. Does anyone know how to do this? Logically, I think there should be a...

Bug: Inspector still visible even when another program is full screen and has focus

Having the inspector modeless is great and allows me to quickly apply a style in Scapple while keeping the inspector open. The trouble comes from the fact that I switch back and forth between programs a lot and the Inspector dialog doesn't stick with Scapple. If I open any other program for a while ...

Re: Feature request: disable auto save

I agree. Auto-save would be best as an option with a duration. I personally would prefer an auto-backup option instead. I was recently frustrated by the same issue and was angry when I realized that Scapple had written over my file without asking. I use it for brainstorming and wasn't expecting it t...

Re: Bug: Compile Formatting issue in PDF using Scrivener built in format

Sure but it happens for me even using the tutorial project and yes, I'm using the included scrivener format Manuscript (Times ) . I can send it to you but I'm wondering if the issue is something else? The help > about says that Scrivener uses Microsoft Word if installed otherwise it uses Aspose? I r...

Bug? With Split Window can only open into left (or top) window

When I use split windows and try to navigate to a new document,, only the the window to the left (or top if stacked vertically) changes content regardless of what window is selected. Am I doing something wrong here or is this a bug? I thought I just had to click on the split window title bar to give...

Re: Bug: Compile Formatting issue in PDF using Scrivener built in format

I see this in all of my PDF viewers. Perhaps I need to change what Scrivener is using to generate the PDF? Isn't there a setting somewhere for this sort of thing? I think i changed the one used for docx at one point but now I can't find the setting so I'm not sure where to look. Is there such a sett...

[LH3796] : Compile Formatting issue in PDF using Scrivener built in format

Hi, Sorry to add another bug to the list. I've been wanting to compile my manuscript for a while and was finally doing so. I compiled this using the Scrivener format "Manuscript (Times)" and the format was PDF. I made no changes to the built format. My manuscript does not have any empty li...

[LH4015] : Scrollbar missing from Synopsis

I have a scene with a long synopsis and a long note section. The note section creates a vertical scrollbar but the synopsis area does not.

Sorry I don't have a screen capture but it should be easy to recreate.
