Re: Merge is Not Undoable

Thank you for this explanation. As a thought, would it be possible on the backup tab of options, along with backup on save and backup on close, etc. for there to be "backup before running any unundoable actions"? I could post that in feature request, but perhaps there is an obvious reason ...

Merge is Not Undoable

Not sure if this is a bug or more of a feature request, but it is not possible to undo a merge.

Re: beta after May 15th?

How you know that you are a fanboy is that you are filling a thread where several people asked a simple question with arguments why their question is stupid/non-existent/unreasonable. I don't care about your opinion on my question. I care about the answer to the question. Unless you know the answer ...

We are in the process of wrapping up this round of fixes and ensuring the product remains robust and stable.

Re: beta after May 15th?

Fanboy logic is amazing. One respondent tells me that it is foolish to even imagine a situation where the beta expires this week with no replacement. Another respondent tells me that that would be fully within their rights and I have no reasonable expectation of anything else. Another respondent act...

Re: beta after May 15th?

Everyone here is dismissing the concern as non-existent, but it is a real concern. It is now the 11th. Why haven't they posted here saying, yes, the beta will be extended/the product will be released. Why haven't they released a 16.2 that just extends the date? Perhaps an update will release on Mond...

[LH3482] Comboboxes cause Scrivener to lose focus

Open a window that contains a combobox Open the combobox by clicking on it Click elsewhere in the window but not in the combobox The child window loses focus. If the child window is modal (Line and Paragraph Spacing), scrivener is replaced by another open application. If not (options) the window dis...

[LH2510] Paragraph Styles not updating

I change the font in my block quote.
I "Redefine Block Quote" including font family
I am warned about the update
Nothing updates.

The style has changed because if I go to any block quote and Alt+Shift+2 twice, it first goes to no style and then to block quote with the new font.

Re: Selecting multiple documents without subdocuments

Even if I put the final documents in a collection by themselves and then select multiple, I still get the subdocuments in the editor window.

Selecting multiple documents without subdocuments

I have a series of documents. Each one is a summary of a longer document. I have the original text in a subdocument under each of the summaries. When I select one of the summary documents, all I see is the summary, but if I select two summary documents, I see not two summaries one after the other, b...

Re: Pausing Cursor (threading issue?)

I don't have antivirus other than windows built-in. I was right I think about it being an autosave issue. I changed the delay from 2 seconds to 30 seconds and the problem went away. Again it is especially strange since I am running this on a very powerful desktop and it is saving to SSD, though that...

Pausing Cursor (threading issue?)

When navigating the text with the keyboard arrow keys, the cursor will pause sometimes. I hold down the right arrow key and it goes through the text and then pauses for 1-2 seconds in the middle of a word and then continues. My computer is a desktop with 32 GB ram, an i5, and all running on a nvme S...
