Change date of snapshots

I'd like to be able to edit the date of a snapshot. E.g., I created the snapshot today, but (for various reasons) it actually reflects the state of the document from a month ago; I'd like to change the snapshot date to a month ago. Is that currently possible? If not, then please consider in a future...

Re: 2.0.3 messes up my shortcuts

Well, this is strange -- I restarted once, after installing 2.0.3. That's when the problem started.

Then I restarted again and the problem is fixed.

Assuming it doesn't reappear, sorry for taking your time.

2.0.3 messes up my shortcuts

I created a new document template for a new scene, called "NewScene" that is slightly altered from the standard doc template. I also created a duplicate of the standard text document template, calling it "NewText." Using Keyboard Preferences, I assigned ⌘N to "NewScene"...

Highlight search results in binder?

Would anybody else like the ability to have search results highlighted in the binder, without having all the other documents hidden? It would be useful for me, being able to keep the search results in context.

Re: Moving Snapshots between documents

By god you're right! I feel like an idiot. Merge works perfectly for my needs.

Thanks,

Re: Moving Snapshots between documents

Typically, the two documents were already created before I figured out they should be merged. And I want to preserve the snapshots from both docs in the same list.

Moving Snapshots between documents

This might sound crazy at first blush, but I'd like a way of dragging one document’s snapshot into another document’s snapshot list. Here’s why: Say, for example, in a screenplay project, I've already written scenes A through D, and created a few snapshots in each document. Then, I realize that scen...

Re: Final Draft default elements

Thanks - I unchecked the box and indeed that fixes the Scene Headings problem, and the margins appear to be fine.

Re: Final Draft default elements

Re: your page count question, I'm running 2.0.2, and editing Scrivenings using Page View. Page count is 86. Once I compile to FD 8 and correct the Scene Headings, I get a page count of 75. (I can tell by looking at the first page, incidentally. Scrivener has several fewer lines per page.) Ultimately...

Final Draft default elements

Hi everyone, I'm repeatedly compiling my draft to FD 8 to check the exact length. I have checked "Use default Final Draft elements" to be sure that when I look at the FD draft it has standard margins, etc. However, when I open these complied drafts in FD, the Scene Heading element has one ...

Re: Scrivener 2.0... It's here.

Congratulations. The program is phenomenal. I used 1.x quite a lot, but found myself switching between it and Movie Magic (and occasionally OmniOutliner) pretty often. None had all the capabilities I wanted. I've been using the NanoWrimo demo, and I just bought 2.0. And now I actually can't imagine ...

Re: Screenplay mode - keeps switching to Monaco

Oh wow. I was previously testing both fonts in Pages - no problem with them there.

But in Text Edit, Courier Final Draft shows the same problem. Constantly switching to Monaco.

Sorry for taking up your time! I will take it from here...

Screenplay mode - keeps switching to Monaco

I'm on a Powerbook G4, PPC. Running Mac OS 10.4.11. When I switch to screenplay mode, the courier font inexplicably switches back and forth between the scriptwriting font and Monaco. (Mainly, it stays in Monaco.) I've searched through my Scrivener preferences - Monaco is not selected as the font for...

Absolutely! You have to prioritize.

Thanks to you and AmberV for helping out on this.

Re: Open Link in Alternate Editor - Options?

Okay, I see a workaround - It seems that the document references panel automatically pulls up the reference in a separate panel. So I can set "Scrivener Links" to open in the same editor, and use that for redirects. For the regular reference-type link, I can use the reference panel. That's...
