Update: More problems

It now is converting text to a subscript format. But it is not working properly. After selecting a segment of text, it subscripts the entire paragraph in which the segment exists rather than just the selected text. Also, I have not found a method for converting a subscripted segment of text back to ...

Failure to create a subscript preset

I am trying to create a preset for subscripting. In my manuscript, I have succeeded in entering text that has a subscript (using the CTR-G, CTR-down arrow). It looks fine. But when I select my subscripted text and go to formatting and create a new preset, the preset is created but it does not work. ...

Changing defaults and converting existing document

I have been studying the manual to find out how one changes the default font etc. Although I have found some pertinent sections, I cannot figure out how to change the default font and then convert an existing manuscript to this font.

Would appreciate some help with this issue.

Double spacing Chapter Headings

I am writing a non-fiction book. New to Scrivener. I have a chapter title that is too long be shown in the pane on the left without widening the pane, so I would like to double space the heading.

Can this be done? If so, how? :)
